Best camping burner around, especially for people with a Discada/Cowboy Woks
I've used this thing for both camping and cooking at home for parties and absolutely love it. I've had a 24" disco/cowboy wok for a few years and would usually throw it on the fire with a few rocks or use my old school kettle propane burner, which was always a balancing act. I finally bought this burner mid-summer and have used it about a dozen times now and all I can think about is, "what the heck have I been doing the 3 years before having this thing?"This burner combined with the discada/cowboy wok, is hands down one of the best camp cooking and even home cooking setups for large meals. Not to mention you can piece together a kit for a fraction of the price of those brands that cater to overlanders who charge upwards of $700 for a kit similar to what you can build out with this and this is more versatile as you can still heat a big kettle pot up with it and it's just as compact. As far as build quality, you can see there is a lot of thought and care put in to this unit. It's very sturdy and collapses down to almost nothing making it easy for packing in the vehicle for camping. This finish is very nice and holds up well to abuse. The design for the cradle is probably the best you can get for being universal between a kettle and a discada, keeping both very stable. The burner also puts out a lot of heat and distributes it very well.If I lost this thing, cause i don't think it's ever going to break, I would buy a replacement almost immediately. This item deserves all 5/5 stars.

Serious Heat
I have been cooking a lot of Thai and Chinese dishes on my stove top that are supposed to be stir fried in a wok and the end result is usually far from what you can get at a mediocre restaurant because an indoor home stove top cannot give you the heat you need to stir fry anything properly. It usually winds up braising in the liquid the food gives off or you have to cook it in such small batches that it takes forever (and still isn't as good). I was looking to find out how to simulate the wok experience for home cooks and others had recommended an outdoor cooker because there aren't the same safety and heat restrictions for outdoor cookers as for a home stove. All of the outdoor cookers I read about came with serious downsides - generally related to quality of workmanship and stability. This one seemed to have the best of the mixed reviews. I bought a used one through Amazon and I did not see any signs of use.It is easy to assemble and is as simple as you can get. The right size wok is really important. I had a 14" wok because I used it on my stove. But, the fork things at the top of the cooker don't support a wok that small so It was not very stable. Stability is important because you don't want a hot wok full of food dumping on the floor (or your pants). But, if you are nervous about that happening while you are cooking, you will likely not stir the food as vigorously. That is really important with a wok that gets this hot. If the food isn't constantly moving, it will burn. I got an 18" round bottom work and bent the fork things inward and they hold it in place about as well as I could want. Some people complained that the wok is too low with the legs fully extended. I was concerned about that as well. But, it actually works well (maybe coincidence, maybe by design). Since the cooking process involves constantly moving food around with either two hands and a utensil in each or one hand and another in an oven mitt holding the wok, having it lower is a little easier. It is much lower than the cooking surface of a stove or a gas grill. But, it is a lot less tiring on your arms if they are mostly stirring and tossing down than up.The flame control is on the regulator. Very simple and it has a good range. So, you can get a low heat, if you want. The high heat is so hot that it made the bottom of my wok glow red. This will give food the char that good stir fried dishes have. Not burnt but charred a bit. I have never been able to get that on a stove. If you have your mise en place ready, you will make some amazing food. It is really a necessity, actually. This cooks so fast and so hot that if you don't have every ingredient set, you will burn stuff. Know the order before you start because there is no time to look at a recipe.

Affortable Wok Burner
I received this unit from Amazon in two days, overall the Kahuna burner is solid and not flimsy, the tripod legs are secure and not wobbly once I hand-tighten all the plastic knobs. Took me only 15~20 minutes to assembled the entire unit, I use a 10mm socket wrench to install 3 top brackets (horn looking thing). The burner is rated at 65,000 BTU and the LP regulator is rated at only 10psi. I use it in the backyard and it has more than enough firepower to stir-fry and get that "Wok-Hay"(smokey flavor) that is not possible to obtain from the wimpy home electric cooktop rated at only 6000~8000 BTU. Make no mistake, this burner is powerful, at full blast the ingredients will get burned within seconds, the key is to constantly toss the ingredients in the wok, usually I only need to turn it up 1/2 way or 2/3. This unit support up to 18" wok, I'm using 14" and 16" wok and they sit just fine on the bracket. The two things that need improvement is the control valve, and windshield: it would be much more convenient to have the valve adjustment located at the burner (like most Chinese wok stoves) so we can control the heat on the fly, instead of taking my eyes off the wok and burner to reach over the valve at the propane tank, which is about 3ft away (I keep the tank as far away from the heat source as possible for safety concern). The stock windshield is way too low and it has too many big holes, even a little bit of wind would affect the flame. For these two reasons I'm taking away one star.I took a video of the burner and posted it on youtube, you can see the flame pattern, and how the 14" wok sat on it.8/31/2013 Update - This Wok Burner still perform like a champ without any issue, I leave it outdoor in the backyard next to the grill, a bit of rust is to be expected. I use this burner for Wok cooking at least once to twice a week, I have been getting my money worth for sure, definitely a great buy!Wind blocker resolution: I found a way to deal with the wind shield issue about a year ago, went to the local asian market and bought a metal wok ring for about $2.00, it has couple of round holes around it and fit perfectly on this burner when I flipped it upside-down. Now I can continue to blast this thing even in a hurricane type wind! LOL
