Dysmio Lighting Light Fixture Pull Chain with Lucite Knob (1 Pack, Polished Brass Finish)

Imagine: I just moved into a new apartment, and there are five fans, but no pull chains. Also imagine: I didn't know how difficult it was to find pull chains at the store. (Apparently, big box stores don't have pull chains... you have to go to the hardware store.) Thank goodness for Amazon. These were exactly the chains I wanted. They're lightweight and yet really sturdy, and they were the fraction of the cost at my local Ace Hardware. They are also not really ornate, which fits with my design aesthetic which is more streamlined. So... I guess you could say I'm a total "fan" of these pull chains (yuk, yuk!!) --- :)

I didn't realize that Lucite is a synthetic material (according to a web definition it is half way between plastic and glass). . .it sounds like the name of a stone, but no. It's ok though. Pretty and nice looking, just beware this is not stone its more like plastic.

This pull chain is cute and cheap while not being gaudy. It's sturdy, cheap, and attractive. There ended up being enough length in the chain to allow me to reach the pull without necessitating the use of another chain extension, and I'm 5'0! That last bit will depend on the height of your ceiling + fan, though. A couple extra bucks for a much better value.

These look really nice in person, but aren't very good quality, unfortunately.I was using these on my kitchen ceiling fan, and they looked great, however, after only a few months one of the pulls just broke off. The plastic is broken where it attaches.

This is a nice quality pull chain for a fan or ceiling light. Easy to install as long as you have an existing pull chain. Can be cut to length with a good pair of scissors. Would buy again. Think the crystal is acryllic or something, but still attractive.

The moment I opened the package, the brass-looking cap (it's actually plastic) immediately broke off the clear lucite base. Poorly glued, poor quality, returned immediately.

Thank goodness they hang pretty high up because I hate how cheap they look.

I paired this with my iron works humming bird and they look amazing together. The small plastic crystal is light and the only aspect I would change is the garish fake gold chain.
