A REAL solar controller
After buying the cheap little blue solar controller, that are so prevalent on some sites, and have several batteries going dead over the last few years, I decided to bite the bullet and buy this proper controller. After around a year I have to say you get your moneys worth, I am getting a lot more power from my batteries, and so far the battery health is not a problem.

OK if you have a battery that is supports
OK if you have a battery that is supports, if you want to change the parameters then you need to buy an extra item, making it dearer than its well know competitor, For this reason I have returned it.

Good MPPT Controller
Been fitted now for 1 month swapped for a cheap controller, already seeing better changing results from my 100amp solar panel. Good solid device with strong terminals.

Epever MPPT charge controller
This seems a well made piece of kit, very easy to install and set up. It as been working on my narrow boat for a couple of months now and all seems well.

Difficult to use the display Parameters.
Easy to wire up and clear instructions on the order in which to attach the Batter, Solar panel and Load. Not particularly easy to understand instructions on using the display parameters. Display also continuously cycles through several options, which is very annoying when I just need to see the Battery Voltage. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

Need better information
I use unit to charge batteries during the day and power garden lights during the night. I cannot get the dusk till dawn function to work. I think the instructions are wrong
