Another very nice Van Gogh repro that really could have benefited by being framed. The gallery wrap method cheapens the look of this in person. There is so much paint on this canvas the textures are amazing. A frame would have really given it the treatment it deserves. Plus this large of a canvas means it feels a little flimsy and seems slightly warped.As for the painting itself, my only critique is of the lighted portion under the awning. The painter used the same orangey yellow to paint the light fixture, the light itself and most of the detail directly under the awning. If you look closely you can see the painted detail but this monochrome treatment looks like blank space when viewed casually.

I purchased this item at half it's (currently) listed price and it came without a CoA, as well. It seems they must have updated the page and changed some things around since I purchased it.However, I love everything about the item except for the brightness of the colors in the actual painting does not match the websites painting.

This is the second time that I’ve ordered this product. Both times, it has been damaged. This was supposed to be a birthday present for my fiancé.I can’t believe lightning has struck twice.

completely fulfills our expectation

One of my favorite overstockart paintings. This painting is a great example of contrast and texture. On my particular canvas, the stones are highlighted as if they were lit and the tables and windows are three D looking. The sky scene sort of reminds one of Starry Night which is by Van Gogh as well. The neatest thing about these paintings is that each one is unique. I had occasion to see several versions of a Renoir that I had purchased. No two were even remotely alike. This was fine with me. the subject of the drawing will be familiar and will roughly approximate the original but that is where the similarity ends. You are purchasing a one of a kind artwork. the good news is that the people at overstockart will work with you to make sure that you are happy with the particular version that you receive. They will substitute paintings, frames, etc at their own expense and have done so for me. They do this because they are aware that these paintings represent individual taste and that not everyone sees things in the same light. This is a rare opportunity to have something truly unique, something that is specially yours, and without any risk.
