I like this product, it's great solution for storing vinyl. But at $110 it's just uneconomical. The steep price is not justified in any way. You're buying particle board you have to assemble yourself. Just because there are no direct competitors, they decide to tax their customers. I don't appreciate that business tactic one bit. I'd be glad to buy their other 3-shelf tower product, as I'm sure it is a fine product. But I can't support those type of exploitative tactics, so I will seek out a different option for my vinyl storing needs in the future.

I scratched the finish removing an instructional sticker. A piece of laminate came off the edge of a shelf while I was dusting. Works great at holding records just don't touch it.

Buyer beware: This item is misrepresented and not advertised with a correct product description. I purchased thinking it was specialized shelving for records as it states the brand is “Vinyl record storage solutions” but what I received was from Better Homes & Gardens. You can find that one here on Amazon for $50 less! I Contacted the seller for a return which they granted but Expect me to pay the shipping for this 36# item! Save yourself the money and trouble and buy the Better Homes & Garden unit from the get.

Assembly was easy, quick. It looked sturdier and a better quality of materials than it is made of (heavy duty cardboard). Has held about 250 LP records for the last 3 months without sagging or tottering. Still looks great.

I am satisfied with the product, but I did not exactly receive what I originally ordered. I ordered the product in black, which was the only option given. What I actually received was "expresso". I ended up keeping the product because of the functionality, but needed a second one. Again, the product was only offered on the site in black, but I was unsure of what I would get. The second item received was black. I really wish that it would have been expresso, too so it would match the other unit. That option was not offered in either case.

After reading some of the negative reviews I almost didn't buy this product. However, the good reviews outweighed the bad and so, I ordered three. They arrived today. The packaging was excellent, very heavy duty cardboard box and the pieces in each box supported by Styrofoam and other cushioning and afforded all pieces maximum protection. I was impressed with the sturdiness of the of the shelving after completing construction of the first unit, which took less than 30 minutes, including a quick vacuuming of the small pieces of Styrofoam that cling to the wood surfaces . I have a collection of 600 vinyl records and these shelves are everything I was hoping for. Yes, the wood is particle board but it is surprising how strong and stable it is once assembled. The assembly was super easy and everything fit as it was supposed to. The instructions are super simple and all parts had a sticker indicating which part it was. I cheated just a bit using a cordless drill to speed up the assembly. If you're careful, it is a very helpful aid if you are comfortable with power tools. I despise hex wrenches! Summing up, I am a happy customer and would highly recommend these shelves for any type of storage, especially if that includes vinyl albums. Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. I'm sure if you encounter any problem Amazon would make it right.

This item is quite easy to assemble, looks good and holds a lot of vinyl record albums. I actually ordered 2 of them to accommodate my collection and am quite satisfied
