Perfect fo a 2 cupper but a tiny hole in the bottom of the outside layer which appears to be part of the manufacture lets in water when washing and leaves horrible sludge marks

Solid quality, does the job and looks great. It’s fantastic that it’s double-walled, keeps the contents warm. Very happy with the purchase.

This looked like a good coffee maker, but after less than a month of careful use a small hole has appeared in the inner section that has allowed water/coffee to leak into the space between the glass walls.There is no way for the leaked liquid to escape back out, so the coffee maker has become useless.For once I didn't look at the 1 and 2 star reviews before I bought this. I went with the good reviews. If I had looked at the poor reviews I would have seen this happened to other purchasers as well.Plainly, others are happy with the coffee maker but it obviously has a serious weakness that several others have discovered too... so I would advise you NOT to buy it.

This cafetière is fantastic, it the best one I have ever owned and I have had a few over the years. It is strong, double walled keeps it hotter for longer. Very impressed. Just the right size for 2 decent cups, thank you
