DDR3 Laptop SO-DIMM to Desktop DIMM Memory RAM Connector Adapter 204 Pin to 240 Pin Card

Took a 4GB stick from my Laptop which was recently replaced by an 8 GB stick. I wanted to upgrade my secondary gaming PC from 14 GB of ram to 16 GB and this peripheral allowed me to save around $20 in the process buy reusing the 4GB stick from my Laptop which Replaced a 2GB stick.Be advised that you may find it difficult to properly insert the Laptop Ram into the Slot on this chip without toying around with it order to get it to fit.
