VERY MATER CHRISTMAS

Toddler loves the glitter snow part it doesn’t come off either which is great just adds a really nice touch

My book arrived on time and super fast. No damage not even a bent page, will make a great gift for my son!

I bought this and "A Cars Christmas" at the same time for my two two year old boys. The book itself is good quality, good picture board book. Story is just okay- it has NOTHING to do with Mater, rather each Cars character gets about one page of what they are doing at Christmas, not a cohesive story, every page is individual. The illustrations are exactly the same as A Cars Christmas. It passed my two year olds, but anyone older will notice immediately. Mildly disappointed as I was hoping for an actual Mater story.

My grandson is obsessed with anything Cars related. Bought it for him leading up to Christmas and he loved it.

OK book. Lacks any semblance of a cohesive storyline or narative arc. Each page seems disconnected from the previous, with characters acting well outside their "nature". (e.g. Lightning McQueen with a snow plow moving snow. A race car's gear ratio isn't really set up for that)That being said, my 2 year old son loves pointing at Mater and all of the other familiar characters. He seems to be able to look past the shallow plot and poor use of character archetypes.

My 5 year old loves Disney Cars and Mater so I was excited to get this for her, but definitely disappointed that there is not really a story being told. Each page has a line about what each car is doing, like Mater using his tow cable to hang Christmas lights or Lightning and Sally having oil at Flo's cafe. The illustrations are beautiful and we love the embedded glitter on all the pages and all the holiday cheer, so we still like the book.The board book format is sturdy so it won't get ruined by the kids, but again, disappointed in the lack of depth and story line, so it's more appropriate for a toddler than an older kid. Luckily, it was only a few bucks.

My son and I loved reading this book over Christmas. There’s glitter on the different pages - so we had fun trying to find all the glitter. The story was cute and we had a great time talking about this book. :)

My grandsons face when he opened this book, will stay with me forever. The biggest smile from ear to ear. Superb quality.

A Very Mater Christmas (Cars) I've only given this book 2 stars, as it was just a few pages with what I thought was no real story. I had thought it was going to be a nice Christmas story all about Mater one of my grandson's favourite characters from Cars.Maybe this was for a younger child my Grandson has just turned 3.It all just seemed a bit disjointed to me, although the pictures were nice with bits of glitter here and there. Good but not as good as I expected I'm afraid. A Very Mater Christmas (Cars)

Lovely looking book but absolutely no story line just statements of what they were doing in the picture.
