interesting read but the pages don't seem to match.
This is kind of a fun book for kids but the pictures that are on the same pages as the descriptions rarely make any sense in relation to the text if at all. It seems like someone put together two books after shuffling them. Kind of annoying and we'll have to get a different book that's more straight forward and explanatory.

The images are great, but the text is poorly written and doesn't properly explain the images. I'm an instructional designer...this I would send back for revisions!

a poorly illustrated thrown together print-on-demand book
There was repetitious text and the illustrations were not labeled accurately. Some of the illustrations were scientifically inaccurate where there are much better real images that could interest curious kids. As a librarian I couldn't recommend this book when there are much better books out there on the immune system for young readers.

No way is this book worthy of purchase
As a decades-long microbiologist and science writer/editor, I am pretty appalled by this book (which I ordered for young family members). Clearly it was not written or edited by serious or knowledgeable professionals. I won’t bother with the details of my assessment (though I agree that the science is sound). Just.... no.
