Purchased to replace Pyle garbage. Pyle mics require that you use them "ice cream cone style" where the mic is almost in your mouth, this mic can be used at a comfortable distance.

I do outdoor DJ events mainly and I have not been let down. I can't say how far the range is for this wireless mic but I've been quiet a distance from the base and it sounds great. Your DJ friends will want to borrow it but don't, you won't get it back!

The Dynamic range of this sure mike is great. It produces a smooth, mellow, full sound. Sometimes mikes in this price range have too much of a "mid-range" quality but this mike has highs and lows that sound equalized. I very pleased.
