This grill will simplify your life. Make bacon and eggs in the same appliance at the same time. The simple dial controller performs as claimed. Set the temperature; wait five or ten minutes, and put in the bacon, put in your eggs, and monitor so the food comes out to your taste. Bacon crispy or not. Eggs up or over easy. Or maybe you want an omelette. You will get it the way you want. Oh, and it is, as claimed, non-stick. It also will grill steak, hotdogs, and hamburgers. Why would it not? And cleaning is easy. A standard-issue kitchen sponge and a little dishwashing liquid does the job. I've used the grill for several weeks now, have grilled all of the above on it, and find no major problems, but two minor annoyances not worth deducting a star for: 1. The socket in which you insert the controller in the appliance is hard to see. You may have to pick up the grill and pivot it around to do that. 2. The grease "tray," as it's billed in the simple instructions, is really more of a "trap" than a tray. In fact I thought the tray might have been left out of the package. But I quickly realized my mistake. And the thing slides out too easily.

I am more than impressed (and relieved) that this griddle worked so perfectly. I read reviews for several griddles, so I was afraid to buy any of them. I was almost convinced that there is no griddle out there with even heating. However, I personally did not notice any "hot spot" problems or have trouble with some things being more cooked than others. I gave the griddle more than enough time to heat even after the indicator light came on and the heat seemed pretty even to me. I have only used it once so far. I had a few friends over and made about fifteen pancakes. I used a half cup of batter for each pancake and was able to fit three pancakes on at one time. I know there are some reviews that complain about the size, but if you read the product dimensions like I did and know what you're getting into that should not be a problem. If you plan to make a lot more at one time than I did then you should get a larger one. Plus, I know some people use less batter for one pancake than I do, so you might be able to fit more than three. Mine were about IHOP size and it didn't take me long at all to make them. Also, I know another problem with a lot of griddles in general is overheating or food getting too dark in a very, very short amount of time and I did not want to risk burning the pancakes, so instead of turning the heat to 350-400 degrees for pancakes like the directions said, I turned it to 325 degrees and just let them cook a little longer. Overall, the griddle was a joy to use. It is light, easy to clean, and easy to store. It is perfect if you don't have a lot of space for a larger griddle and don't plan to try to feed a large crowd. And at the time that I bought it, the price was just right at $19.99. I have not cooked anything on it other than pancakes but I am excited to see how it does with other food.

I have had two of the larger versions of this product. Each lasted several years. The last one was replaced with this one because it was too big for our needs anymore and I wanted something that would have more storage options being smaller. It works just as well as my prior two versions. Yes there is some uneven cooking but that is easily remedied simply by turning the item. This is a quality value product not a high end product and it works for me.

works well for pancakes and sausage and bacon. I just wish it had a lid!! Cleans easily. The drip tray isn't ideal, but I can deal with it.

Second one owned in 12 years, other model had plastic handles that broke due to age and heat after 12 years. It’s a keeper and time saver. Quality is good, temperature is good throughout the plate.

Nice size for one or two people. Glad to have something with nontoxic coating.

I love this griddle. It heats up very fast and cooks pancakes evenly. I can cook 2-6 pancakes at one time depending on how large I want them to be. I could probably fit 8 but they would be tiny, super close and you'd have to flip just exactly right to avoid flipping it on another pancake. I am not that good at turning them so usually 4 is comfortable to cook at once. Before I could only cook one at a time in my frying pan and it would take me 45 min. to finish all the batter. I can cook 3 cups of batter, roughly 18-22 pancakes in about 12-15 min. now. The pancakes come out beautifully browned too. Before I use the griddle I spray Pam on the surface, then wipe it off with a paper towel. I then turn on the griddle and let it heat up to 350 degrees. It's ready to go in about 2 minutes or less. The griddle comes with suggested temperature settings for different foods and the pancake setting is between 350-400 degrees. I started with the 350 and it is just right. If it gets a bit too hot even at 350 I can turn the dial down just a tiny bit and it adjusts really fast. I've used it about 4 or 5 times so far and have no complaints except to be careful about spilling batter between the griddle and the handles. It is hard to clean in that little space and this is not the model with removable handles. Let it completely cool off before washing with a soft sponge and mild detergent. It cleans up fast and easily. Cooling off takes less than ten minutes. Just unplug it right after you turn it off and remove the metal heating rod, being careful not to touch it as it will still be very hot. After I wash and dry the griddle I put everything in a plastic bag and seal it up and keep everything together. It fits well on the bottom shelf of my widest pot and pan cabinet. i store it on its side to save space and facing the wall of the shelf so no pots accidentally scrape the non stick surface.

My old griddle was only cooking just where the bottom heating element was. My new Presto griddle provides much more consistent heat, and I can use the whole surface. Excellent product.
