These don't fog and do get pretty dark, but flimsy
I know these are supposed to be lightweight but for over $200 I'd expect something more sturdy. I bought them for a climb of Rainier and they should be OK for that. As long as I don't drop them. They do get pretty dark, I tried them in the snow at around 10,000 feet and the light intensity was comfortable. But they are really flimsy. Also the nose clips are supposed to be adjustable but I could not find a position that was very comfortable. They don't fog, which was my main criteria, since other Julbo sunglasses I have bought fogged terribly. So the photochromic lenses work OK and they don't fog, I just wish they didn't feel like they were about to fall apart.

Super lightweight and stay on running, cycling, swearing
Ok, this is my first review, but I have been looking for the perfect sunglasses for 3-4 years and I’ve found them. I just finished a hard intervals based bike and run. These are so lightweight and the flexibility/grip so good that they don’t move. And I forgot I even had them on. The optics and photochromatic capability are great too. These replace a pair of lightweight Uvex sunglasses that I’ve had for 12 years. I wish I could spend a little less, but I plan to use these for 10+ years and get my money’s worth.

Not what I expected for the price
The julbo aerolite are pricey for what you get. The innermost side of the lenses has a coating that gets dirty quickly and the coating is hard to clean. The air coming around the lenses does cause some blurry vision and the frames will slide down my nose when I’m working hard and sweating. I wish the silk sack didn’t have Jublo marketing on the outside because it makes it hard to use the sack as a cleaning cloth and the semi hard outer case has me worried that the glasses will get crushed when I put them in my backpack. The glasses have a fragile look and feel to them. That said they are very lite and the shading is nice. I assume they are made for pro/elite sports athletes which I am not.

Julbo Aerolite Performance Sunglasses w/REACTIV or Spectron Lens
Very happy with the reactiv lens. I bought these primarily to mountain bike in and am really happy with them going between bright open spaces and then into the darker woods. They are not so dark that they impair your vision and are just dark enough to take the sting out of a bright cloudless sunny day. They also stay on my face and don't slide around like other similar styles. I have a small face and took a chance on these and am happy with them.

Cheap gas station sunglasses! No thanks
Not what I expected! I waited for over a year to purchase this brand and I'm highly disappointed! After paying about $170 for these sunglasses I expected more than a super cheap plastic pair that felt like gas station glasses. I'd be ashamed to put my name on these if I was the company that produces them. I won't waste money on Julbo brand. I'll spend my $200 somewhere else.

Was it worth it?
Before I bought this product, I did a lot of research...I read many great feedback about this product especially from athletes (runners, hikers, etc). Which led me to purchase it..Now that I have it, I’m beginning to wonder if those consumer reviews were real or paid robots by advertisers..I think it’s a little pricey for something that feels / looks really “cheap”. I could’ve gone to Big 5 and picked up one of those $50 sunglasses, (also made in Taiwan) which serve the same purpose. I’m debating whether I should return this item or not.

Not dark enough
The lens didnt get dark enough for bright Colorado sun. Left me squinting. Too bad because the fit was great.

Clear anti-fog, photochromatic lens. They do fit women's ...
Clear anti-fog, photochromatic lens. They do fit women's faces, and work perfectly on the trails. I do wish they were just a smidgen tighter because when I have my head inverted (hiking a football in the co-ed flag football league), they slide down my nose.

Bouncy
I've found these glasses don't fit particularly well on my head. It says they are suited to female or Asian heads, but mine must be particularly tiny because they are just far too bouncy. They seem to be OK on completely flat roads, but as soon as I get on trails, particularly downhill ones, I'm constantly having to push them up on my nose, which isn't what you want to be doing when you're trying to concentrate on not landing flat on your face. The nose grip is not bad I suppose, but the arms just seem to offer no grip whatsoever, and I end up with a sort of tension headache from trying to keep them in place by scrunching my nose up. The photochromic technology seems to work well, but I can see me only wanting to wear them for road running which is exactly where you don't need it - you want it for when you're weaving in and out of trees in a wood.
