Love my Karcher. Picks up kitty litter with ease. Makes cleaning a lot easier and more fun. Easy to charge and put together. Cannot be used on heavy carpeting (lots of shag) but excellent for hardwood and thin carpeting.

This said it could be used on low pile rugs but NO it is not meant for rugs! it does a decent job on bare floors and very very low pile rugs like indoor/outdoor carpeting. I would return this but once you assemble the handle it will not come apart to return. There are plastic pieces that you put between the metal poles to connect them, but I couldn't even get them to snap all the way together, and they still won't come apart, and I even tried WD 40 TO NO AVAIL. Most sweepers like this one, the poles screw together so it's easy to assemble and disassemble, but this is cheaply made. It's very lightweight which is good and bad the plastic is so cheap not sure how long it will hold up, but it is lightweight for seniors like myself. Some reviewers mentioned the handle breaking I can see that happening, especially with mine since I couldn't get it to snap all the way together. One plus I do love, is that you just pull back the handle to switch on and return it to up position to turn it off as a senior unsteady on my feet this feature helps. I wish I could return it because I wanted this for my area and throw rugs and this will not work. If you put it on a rug even with low pile it will start and then shut itself off, but I don't think it's defective because it doesn't shut itself off when on bare floors or on my vertically no pile indoor/outdoor carpeting in my apt. it just can't handle rugs the brush doesn't turn fast enough or the motor isn't powerful enough to handle rugs. Since I needed it for area rugs it useless to me, I have a swivel sweeper which I love, it swivels 360 so it gets in places no other sweeper can, but it too does not work well on rugs so I bought this for my area and throw rugs. The Swivel Sweeper is much better then this thing and works very well except on rugs. So this is worthless to me and I wasted my money so I hope this helps someone decide whether or not to buy if they plan to use it on rugs I do NOT recommend,UPDATE: I had originally given this 2 stars but I've updated it to 4 stars. I think when I first used it, it wasn't fully charged because this actually pickups up pretty well, on bare floors, and it will work on low pile rugs as long as you go with the nap, I was going against the nap I think and so this little thing couldn't handle that. I love that it starts and stop just by pulling back the handle and stops by returning it to the upright position. The cleaning path is not very wide but all and all I love this little thing. I compared it to the swivel sweeper, and the swivel sweeper is good but it will not stand up by itself so that is annoying so I have been using this thing daily.

Very good as a quick option for not big areas. Instead of pulling out my regular Miele, this small tool saves the time and does the job pretty good ! Worth the money! Very easy to put together and use. Looks great! Super slim profile!

Hubiera sido mejor el modelo que es aspiradora portátil. Se le enredan mucho lo pelos, levanta mucho polvo, no recoge tanto como lo muestra el video, hay que repasar muchas veces. En las fotos y videos se ve lo que comento. No es cómoda de manejar en las escaleras

Works well on hardwood and tiles floor. Stopped working after 7 months of use as battery is not charging.

I purchased this electric broom to mainly pickup dog hair. I have a lab that sheds constantly and when you sweep, the dust balls fly off the dust pan. Not wanting to haul out the heavy duty vacuum cleaner or mess with a broom everyday, I went this route. The description of the product online is pretty thorough. Its purpose and function are very clear. The product arrived promptly and was conveniently packaged. The instructions are super easy to follow and i had it put together in a couple of minutes. I primarily use it to pick up dog hair daily and this does the trick. Pros: a) it takes up very little storage space in my closet. b) it goes under cabinet fronts and chair rails easily. c) the canister that holds the dust is easy to remove and empty. You need to do that every time you use it. d) extremely light weight. Its actually fun and pleasurable to use. Everyone in the house loves pushing it around. e) Does what its supposed to do in my application. If your constantly having to sweep this makes it pleasurable and super easy. f) great design and I like the color. g) There are no on/off buttons. You simply push the handle and it starts. Cons: a) though the rotating brush is very easy to remove its like cleaning a hair brush. The dog hair gets twisted around the roller. b) I wish the plug in cord to charge it was near the top then rather at the bottom. But not sure how that could work. I still love it despite that. If anyone is short on storage and or needs to sweep daily this is a great product. A few notes a) I found it works best with a direct forward motion vs a vacuum style back and forth. If you pull back it will deposit the hair from the roller onto the carpet. b) I found the Karcher works very well on my thinner indoor/outdoor rugs but following instructions I have not used it on my deeper pile rugs of which it is not intended for. c) It seems to pick up dirt on my tile floor fairly well in the mudroom. D) I have an outlet in my utility closet. This makes it convenient for plugging it in to charge. I've never owed an electric sweeper so I have nothing to compare it to. I'm very pleased with this product and really do like it and recommend it.

Bought this for those days where I don’t have time to do a deep clean or to lazy to use broom and dustpan lol. Battery life is long lasting very light weight. I use this during week for those quick little sweeps/vacuums of the downstairs. Not very loud and does the quick cleanup I need on those busy days or weeks. Down side sometimes it does not pickup all the paper from kids crafting but not a deal breaker at all.
