Awesome book for any gear nut!
Covers everything from basic gear to advanced. Older book but still really good info!

Could be really interesting but ultimately just a catalog of gear with little in the way of what to do with it all
Wished it contained some actual wiring and cabling diagrams and offered some connections options to try or consider. It's really a great book but it's filled with a bunch of gear and little else in the way of suggestions or solutions; just a catalog of stuff. Seeing a few pics of artists rack fronts is fine, but those are easily found on the internet. Better would be signal chain and other deeper info and tips.

You need this book if you have a guitar rack
Perfect book for a person who wants to really understand rack gear and the little nuances that you can expect and should be aware of. The author really took his time to understand the subject matter.With this book I feel that I can not only redo my entire rig with more knowledge but with a level of knowledge expertise to the be a few steps behind the Friendman's and Bradshaw of rig building

Excellent book with lots of information about Guitar Rigs. This book has exactly what I was looking for to learn about Guitar Rigs, Tones, and Effects. I certainly would recommend this book for those interested in learning about their Rigs.

Very informative
Outstanding book of Guitar rig knowledge. After reading it, I really felt good since many of the products he wrote about I had. Pretty current material. Talks about wet/dry rigs, amp profilers, modelors; Fractal Axe, KPA, GigRig G2 etc

Comes with a dvd as well, good insight into rigs but I always think they are written for people who already understand everything

Useful book
Useful book. It's hard to keep this sort of book up to date, however, as technology keeps changing.

This book is very clear, in deep and interesting. Maybe for a non specialist guitar player. If you use guitar gear professionaly, you dont' need this book. Instead, if you have used combo amp and guitar for many year and you want to switch to complex rig system, this book is strongly raccomended! Thanks Scott
