Expensive but effective
On the one hand, they look beautiful on the ceiling. Literally just like real tile. Also, it's nice to know that if they don't stick well up there and one or two come down, I won't have ceramic smashing on my head. On the other hand, the price is ridiculous. It is literally a styrofoam square with a nicely molded design on one side.

good product
Nice stuff. Goes up easily and seems to stay once the adhesive sets. Would be even better if it were a full, real 20 square, and not a 19+ fraction.

An excellent cover for my old popcorn ceiling
These tiles were just the ticket for covering my old worn out, stained and discolored popcorn ceiling. My wife and I did a 700 sq. ft. ceiling in a day. The tiles are easy to cut when fitting to corners and around fixtures. Every time a neighbor or a friend sees our new ceiling for the first time, their reaction is WOW! THAT'S BEAUTIFUL. These tiles were inexpensive, an easy DIY project, and the results were outstanding. I found the center of the room, marked the lines with perpendicular chalk lines and starting installing tiles. I quickly learned that you have to mount each tile precisely and keep the lines absolutely straight to have the sight line be perfect. I used ceramic tile mastic and it worked perfectly. I applied dabs to the back of the tile and pushed the tile into place. If you careful, you can push the tile around by the edges without damaging it to get into its proper place. I love what it did for the look of my home.

Incredibly easy
We bought these for my wife's art studio. It's a 12'x12' room with a vaulted ceiling. I loved not having too finish the ceiling up and left it mudded pretty rough. My wife painted the tiles once before installing and then glued them as per the instructions and stuck them up. Went up quick and easy. I cut the pieces at the edges with a utility knife - since they are Styrofoam they cut like butter. I was only going to caulk around the edges, but decided it would look better caulked between each seam. So I spent a little extra time and caulked everything. Then I used a brush to paint at the edges and down every seam. Then rolled the final coat of paint. Looks great and my wife is happy with it so I am too.

Two Stars
Nice looking tile but terrible quality, I would never install this on my ceiling.

Glossy painted finish.
The end results of our installation was really awesome. The ceiling was scrubbed clean. I use the Glue 10 to glue the panels up. That worked really well with ten dime size blobs of glue on each panel. Within one minute it was set and ready for the next panel. All of that went really easy and quick. The hard part was that some panels would be too close together and others would have a gap. With the quick set glue there's no moving it later. I used latex caulking and sealed the lines. I the painted everything with glossy white latex paint. That job took a full day. I ended up with zero holidays.

Great Look for an Old House
We questioned using something like styrofoam for a bathroom ceiling but we were VERY pleased with working with it, how easy it was to measure and conform to our needs. With an over 100 year old house the walls and ceiling are not always square and this product has some give to it where plastic or tin tiles would not have as much forgiveness. Working around ceiling lights were again a breeze compared to the plastic products I've used in the past. We are looking to use this product for more renovation projects in the future.

Realistic
I was in the process of redoing my half bath and wanted to do the ceiling in tin. In researching the product, the installation and price was more time and more money than I wanted to spend. So I looked up glue tin and found the styrofoam glue ceiling tile. It looks so realistic on my ceiling and was so easy to install. I ended up ordering another that was already painted, but kept these to use as templets for the others. I have some leftover and will find another use for them. I would highly recommend using these on any project.
