SpeTool Spiral Router Bits with DownCut 1/8 inch Cutting Diameter, 1/4 inch Shank CNC Bits Solid Carbide End Mill for Wood Cut, Carving

Used it to cut mortices in hardwood. It gave a clean accurate cut.

This bit worked great even if you went off the wood and it needed to come back into it. Not a step was lost and the cut was smooth as can be.

I used it to carve some lettering on the face of a pine board. The down-cut shears down into the wood instead of up out of the wood, making for a cleaner cut than an upcut bit.

Used this to route a 3/16" deep circle in 1/2" plywood to hold a lexan insert. The downward cut minimized tear-out of the plywood's veneer finish making a really neat job of the of the edges. The bit didn't show any signs of wear or over heating even after more than 200 inches of routing. With down cut bits there's always concern about clearing cut material especially with one as narrow as this 1/8" bit, but at this depth it had no problem ejecting the saw dust - no burning noticeable throughout the entire cut. Excellent router bit!

The media could not be loaded.  I was able to carve the wood design that I needed to do.

This bit solved a broken I was having with tearout. I’m not giving it a rating for durability because I’ve only done test cuts to make sure it will work.I’m sure it will be fine.

I used this to cut out my rosette on a classical guitar soundboard, engelmann spruce. It was a super clean cut and allowed me to sneak up on the outer and inner diameter of the rosette. Very pleased with the results and clean cutting capability of this bit.

I used this bit to cut hard maple on my CNC Router. The cuts were clean with no fuzz on the top of grooves. The bit arrived on time and worked well.

Broke 2 bits, bought from general hardware store that were more expensive than this one... This one is still going strong after doing 3 times the work of the others

Used in a Bosch 12v handheld router on solid walnut. Cuts nice and clean, obviously if not cutting though the material waste will accumulate with it being a down cut.

It cuts cleanly and appears to be holding up quite well.It does whine alot under pressure, but i have to think it's the small bit trying to chew thru tough wood.
