Converter works seamlessly, super easy solution to a complex problem.PLUS - customer service is *excellent*, I had to contact them because I didn't receive the item but come to find out a student I was hosting for a while mistakenly took the package when they left. Very fast and friendly customer service, highly recommend them.

Amazon advertised a specific part number and sent a generic one that could not be used.

Works with Avocent DSRIQ-PS2
I needed to connect a Avocent DSRIQ-PS2 Avocent Kvm Interface Ps2 Vga Module Cable Dsriq-ps2 0x622 - 520-255-00x because the USB version of that module was incompatible with my system. This adapter works fine with the Avocent DSRIQ-PS2 Kvm Interface module.

Very good product
Some of these Active USB to PS2 adaptors don't work well with some KVM switches or PCs. We have found these to work reliably on 100% of the devices we have ever tried them on. Very good product.

Good active USB adaptor
purchased for my municipal office, works great with the old voter registration hand scanner that only had a ps2 connection and the new computer only has USB ports.
