Being 12v led it is very low draw and would be a great way to light up a remote area or a ...
Obnoxiously bright! The stock high beams on my truck are lacking in the brightness department. Bought these to save a few deer that hang out along the miles of dark back county texas roads I drive on to get home. They reach out very far and have a wide enough beam I think some people catch the light on there living room along the road. Give you enough light into the shoulders on both sides so you can see the suicidal deer before they mess up your day. Being 12v led it is very low draw and would be a great way to light up a remote area or a camping area. I have a few broken halogen work light stands that I am considering converting to these. The led will take a far better beating then the 500w glass halogen tubes any day

Is it really 48 watts?
The first one I got had something loose and rattling around in it. I had to get another one sent out.Its definitely bright and impressive but I'm not so sure its 48 watts.Power (watts) is volts times amps.Current Draw: 2A @12V, .9A @ 24V2 amps at 12v = 24 watts.9 amps at 24v = 21.6 watts. So -- what is it?EDIT -- I checked for myself. It draws 3 amps at 12 volts. About 36 watts.

BRIGHT Lights!
I bought a pair of this 48W LED spot to replace my round 27W LED spot. The difference between them is night and day. These lights are really bright. They are mounted behind the grill of my Subaru Forester and they still lights up the road better than OEM headlights. I was able to use them during my trip to Lake Tahoe over the weekend and they lit up the twist and turns well. I turned them on when there's no car in front of me. My brother was driving behind me and he was really impressed. I would recommend getting a 48W LEad instead of the 27W LED. The photos don't even do them justice. I'll just have to wait to find out how long they'll last.

Good work light.
Bought this light to place on the boom of a small backhoe. The size is prefect and puts out a lot of good white light. I just installed it and it looks great. I hope it lasts a long time. The price was right and arrived by US mail in my mailbox. I ran a positive wire to the switch and grounded the negative wire directly to the mounting bolt. The hardware apprears to be stainless steel of good quality. I will try to up load a photo of the light on the boom. I can dig 24 hours a day now!

Good quality SPOT work lamps. Not flood, very happy!
These are 30 degree lights. It's not real clear in the description as to whether they are 30 or 60 degree beams. I took a gamble and ordered a pair of each and had these arrive before the others so that I could know which are which. The packaging doesn't say which they are either. But these are much narrower and spot-like than the ones that I ordered that are marked 60 degrees. I like these and will be using them on the front of my truck as daytime driving lights and as extra lights to help my LED headlights at night. Work great!

they are a great value.
I've ordered several of these for boat use. They are very bright.4 stars is because 2 of the 10 ended up got wet in the rain and failed. If you buy these, I would be sure to double check the seals and add silicone if necessary. For the money, they are a great value.

Stopped working after 3hrs
Purchased 2 of these to use on a 48v utility cart setup. Only hooked 1 up so far and it died after maybe 3 total hours of use. Voltage ranged anywhere from 45v to 58v DC. When it worked the light was very bright and I was quite impressed. Guess I will change out the no longer functioning unit with my 2nd unopened one and see how long that lasts. Would have been 5 stars had the unit lasted longer, and it was just so bright when it did work I could not see giving it 1 star. I may have just gotten a bad unit, hopefully this 2nd one makes me want to up my review rating.

BRIGHT!
I mounted this to the front of my kayak for navigating the river to my duck hunting spot and man is it bright!! Works very well and running it off of a 12v marine battery will last quite a while. It only takes me about an hour to get to my spot and set up and I never noticed it dimming during that time frame. Fair warning though, the front cover does get pretty hot after extended use.
