Genkent Replacement Toothbrush Heads for Philips Sonicare HX7022/66 Essence Xtreme Elite Advance (4 PACK) by Genkent

I expect that everyone looking at these is thinking the same thing that I was: the official Sonicare heads are waaaay too expensive. Seriously, that's just price gouging because for so long, there wasn't a reliable way to get other compatible heads. All we want is clean teeth at a sane price, right?Well, these don't quite get there. They look just fine, and on the first brush or two you might think you've hit the perfect-duplicate jackpot, but the illusion fades quickly after that. These bristles are just not durable enough. Whereas I could use the official ones months beyond the recommended replacement date with no discernible decrease in stiffness - I am not a hard brusher - these bend and fray much faster. I'd say I can use one of these heads for about one third to one half as long as an official head.A much smaller note, these may be slightly more prone to rattling than the official ones, but I repeat that it is slight, albeit likely with greater variation between shipments. I'm not sure what the other reviews complaining about that are on about.In the end, these are probably slightly better than the official heads, but sadly closer to an even value than I had hoped. Slightly more than one third the value for about one third the price is worth it, but I suspect we can do better.

I've been using these replacement heads for a while now, and they are almost identical to the Sonicare heads. The bristles are not detectably different than the Sonicare version, which is nice. Other replacement heads I have tried have been too hard. These attach just as easily as the OEM heads, but there is a small problem with the Genkent heads. They are not identical in size. This makes them quite a bit louder than the Sonicare heads. A bigger problem is that the slightly off fit allows more water to seep into the crease. This means that mold is allowed to grow inside the toothbrush. To counteract this, I just take off the head and wash the inside of the brush once a week.EDIT (9-11-16): Previously, I ended my review with, "Overall, I believe these trade-offs are well worth the savings" and gave 4 stars. The noise level of these heads plus the mold problem make it so that I cannot really recommend them on any grounds other than price. I tested the noise level compared to other heads, and they are about 10 dB louder and are more high pitched. I have since switched to other heads and have reduced my rating to 3 stars.

My husband bought "generic" heads at the discount store a few months ago. They were ridiculously loud and didn't seem to move in the same way as the "original" expensive ones. They also looked slightly different (the brush part was wider, for one thing). These I would be hard-pressed to tell from the originals. The price is amazing for what you get and I'm so glad we took a chance on these thanks to previous reviewers. I would not be at all surprised if these came from the same factory that makes the original replacement heads, only these get put into a plain box instead of in fancy plastic packaging with the brand name on it.

So far so good. I think the bristles are a bit tougher than on Sonicare heads, so beware if you have sensitive gums (just floss more!). Far far cheaper than buying name brand. If you're torn between these and the Target brand ones, get these. The Target ones made a horrible buzzing noise and didn't fit right on our Sonicare.

These are nice and much cheaper than the other replacement heads I can buy at Walmart. However, they are a little stiffer than the brushes I used to have. Otherwise, they are still great.

Better than original Sonicare brand. These are made and shipped from China so I was skeptical. I replaced original Sonicare brushheads with these and I can tell you they are better in my opinion. The reason I say this is because I can feel the range of motion when the brushheads move from side to side is greater than with Sonicare brushheads. Also, with the Sonicare brand brushheads I had to screw it on EXTRA hard otherwise it would make a rattling noise when I turn it on. I stopped having that problem with these brushheads.

Great Product for the Price. Don't really notice the difference from this generic brand and the real ones. I do notice the noise is a little louder but not a big deal at all. It keeps my teeth clean like the real ones. Will buy this again.

Would have given it 4 stars but they are a bit loud. Definitely seem to vibrate faster but i think that is only because it is louder than the original. Gets the teeth cleaned... and that is what they are for.
