Great product
I bought this product for my mother, who is 92 and has dementia. It has delivered on all my expectations. Mom is only 4"11" and the low handle setting is the perfect height for her (as is the seat). She was very unsteady walking on her own but walks quite confidently with the rollator. An added bonus is that she can now walk erect, with her head up, vs. slumped with her head down. Since Mom has dementia, she has no idea how to use the brakes. However, I can walk beside her with my hand on the wheelchair handle to provide any assistance she might need in slowing down on ramps. The rollator is sturdy and handles outdoor terrain (sidewalks and some grassy/gravel areas) very well. I chose not to keep the storage basket on the unit (to keep things simple and light) but the seat very handy to carry anything we need (as we are using the unit as a rollator 100% of the time). The unit also folds easily and is easy to pick up and store as it only weighs 22 pounds. I highly recommend this product for anyone who is a bit unsteady or does not have the stamina to walk far on their own.

Deluxe walker that converts to a wheelchair but isn’t bulky
This walker is awesome, my 84 y/o mom uses it outside and up and down hills with no issues. When we go long distances she sits in the wheelchair which she enjoys. It folds up easily. We had to replace a screw which came loose and the storage basket doesn’t always stay attached securely but otherwise we’ve been very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend.

Such a wonderful mobility aid
My rollator/transport chair arrived today, and so far I’m over the moon. It arrived a day after ordering it, fully assembled. I was able to use FSA funds to purchase it, which is so amazing. And the rollator is awesome. I love the adjustable handles. I’m 5’8 and my partner is 6’3. Having taller handles is already so much more comfortable. I took it for a spin around the neighborhood. As a rollator, handles smoothly on pavement and grass. It stays straight even when I’m pushing it with one hand. It transforms into a transport chair in about 30 seconds. I haven’t gotten to test it out as a transport chair, but am excited to do so soon. It’s more comfortable than my standard rollator. It’s also easier to move around since it folds inward, I can push it while moving it in and out of the house, which reduces how much lifting I need to do. It feels a little heavier than my standard rollator but it’s still quite manageable. And it feels very sturdy and just well designed. 10/10. I only wish I could get it in another color, but that’s a small complaint in the grand scheme. I also got a few cupholders and clips to go with it, and they went on easily.

Serious Safety Risk - should be a recall
Dangerous Design Flaws — Serious Safety Risk! This model has a major design flaw: each front wheel is supported by only a single frame arm. Because of this weak structure, the wheels swivel and tip even over small cracks or uneven pavement. (See video). The only way to move it safely is to pull it backward — pushing forward makes the front wheels buckle and tilt dangerously. If we hadn’t noticed in time and continued walking briskly while pushing our dad in wheelchair mode, he could have been thrown from the seat — an extremely dangerous situation. I also have a video when my dad was jerked forward and I had to turn around to pull him instead; but Amazon limits to only 1 video . For reference, our dad weighs only 160 lbs, so his weight is not enough to damage or distort the wheels. This is clearly a design defect, not user misuse. I reported the issue to the manufacturer over a week ago. Their representative offered to replace the distorted wheels, but I told her — why would I continue using a product with such a dangerous flaw? Replacing the wheels doesn’t fix the unsafe design. The company has shown no real concern and taken no corrective action. I will insist Amazon to take back the item and refund me in full. I strongly discourage anyone from buying this model until it’s recalled and properly redesigned for safety.

We now own two!
My wife has a variant of Parkinson's, and had tried other walkers. This one works so well we now own two, one for the house, and one we keep in the back of the car so it is always with us when we go out. The fact that it folds to just 8 inches thick or so makes it easy to transport. The build quality is excellent, brakes work well, it is a great example of good engineering, as it is both sturdy and lightweight. This item is perfect for those with conditions that allow them to walk but who tire quickly, as this allows for a rapid conversion from walker to pushable wheelchair.

Danger! Unstable wheels. Otherwise lots of great features.
I’m really sorry to give this one star. I would love to give this more stars because there is a lot to like about it, but it is simply dangerous when used as a wheelchair. The large front wheels easily get caught on small bumps in sidewalks and unexpectedly pitch the rider forward. We have had a couple of very close calls with my mother on even tiny bumps. The wheels have the tendency to shimmy and turn sideways on slightly rough surfaces even when there are no bumps at all. The walker is also pretty hard to maneuver as a walker. It’s much heavier than some of the more common “rollators” and it’s also bigger and harder to turn. We are on a trip, but we won’t be using this thing after we get back. It is just too dangerous. I don’t even want to donate it in case the next person gets hurt. Other than that, it is well built. The frame itself is incredibly sturdy (if a bit heavy) and there are lots of nicely thought-out features, like the way the footrests fold down and the way the walker folds up. It feels like someone put a lot of thought and care into it. It’s just a bummer about the wheels. The brakes are also a bit non-functional. They are metal teeth that pinch down on the wheel. They don’t really work to slow down the walker (so you really have to hang onto the person you’re pushing if you’re going down a hill). The metal teeth also seem like they could be hard on the wheels over time. I’m very glad that this company is making a walker/wheelchair. It is super useful and super well-made apart from the wheels. If you can swap out the front wheels for something with a wider more rubbery tire, that might solve a lot of the problems. I might try that.

Sturdy but heavy and wide. Better as a wheelchair option than walker replacement.
I do really like this chair. But I consider it a replacement for a wheelchair and not a walker. The duet is much heavier and wider than a traditional rollator walker with a seat. This makes it too wide to use around our small house. It is also very heavy and it's difficult for my mother to lift over the threshold. So at home, she still uses her old rollator walker. But what I really like about this chair is that it's easy to use as a wheelchair while giving her the option to walk a little when we go out. I'm hoping this will help keep her more mobile over time. The chair is very sturdy but I wish it came in different sizes or weight. My mother is so small, the chair is a little too big and heavy for her. But it would have been perfect for her when she was a little younger. I would have been happy to pay a little more for a narrower and lighter chair. But at least we now have a good option to keep her walking at the mall and then I can push her easily when she gets tired without hurting my back. Pros:. Sturdy and stable with convenient leg rests Cons: very wide and heavy for a small person Suggestions: chair size options, full size back rest, side basket for cups or misc items.

Very Functional!
This rollator that converts into a wheelchair is extremely convenient and functional. We have already taken advantage of the wheelchair when my father was feeling sick, and was too tired to walk. It was very easy to make ready out of the box and did not require any tools. The design is well thought out down to the reflectors built into the handle! It is made of quality materials and is sturdy. The design gives the frame a bit of flex, which I mistook for a flaw. My father said the flex allows it to go over uneven spots without allowing the wheels to come off the ground. The larger wheels on the front helps it to glide over bumps. Another benefit is It folds from side to side, you can temporarily partially fold it to get through a tight space. A quick push on the seat locks it back into place. Folding, loading and unfolding for use is very easy. No more pinched fingers. We feel like we got a Cadillac . Well worth the extra money spent.
