I got this for a plane ride for my daughter and it is very cheaply made. You have to slide the eraser a couple times to get it cleared and it gets stuck often. Would not buy again and would get one of better quality for the same price at target. I have learned my lesson. will be returning.

Definitely not worth $9.79. I have 2 yr old twins and bought them each one. The pens were the first things to come off of the string. The board itself looks like something you'd get at the dollar store. Maybe for older children, not durable during normal use.

This is an incredibly low quality poorly made magnetic drawing board. Worse quality than dollar store doodle boards. Magna doodles are soooo much better (I should know, we have 2 of them. They have saved my sanity on many a car ride). This is made of cheap materials that have been slapped together. The white part that you draw on is thin and flimsy and falling out of the frame. It bows when being gently drawn on by an adult. The erasing stick doesn't reach the top of the board so there is a permanent line at the top. You have to erase 5 or 6 times to get your drawing to mostly disappear. There is residual glue around the edges. The plastic frame is thin and flimsy. The colors are one color per quarter of of the board. Don't buy this, buy an actual magna doodle instead.

Tarcat Magnetic Drawing Board ** Please see attached photos **Weighing a mere 8.83 ounces and measuring 10.8" x 7.6" x 1.3", the Tarcat Magnetic Drawing Board is light and designed to be an on-the-go toy. Sadly, the finished product fails all the way around.I have fond memories of the magnetic doodle I had as a kid. When I say, let's go, Both my granddaughters grab their Magna Doodles. Magnetic boards are ideal for car rides, especially extended ones. However, they were not impressed by the Tarcat edition.The shell or body is made of thin, fragile plastic. This board cannot withstand the average toddler. All the pushing, dropping, banging, etc. If it falls out of our vehicle one time, it will be broken. It is far too fragile for young doodlers. The board is colorized. You can see the color differences in my attached pictures. The colors are light, putting a bit of pressure with the pen or "stamps" darkens the colors. Erasing requires an average of 3-4 swipes, using the plastic, slider. Even after multiple swipes, you can still see bits of the erased drawings. The colors are still quite grainy. It does have a "carry handle," with finger-slots, perfect for small hands. However, for the quality of what you get, it is way over-priced.In the end, the kids did not enjoy this toy. The 3-year-old left it on the sofa after less than four minutes. My oldest granddaughter (age 7), gave it a try a few times. But she was quickly bored. The weak colors thin plastic, and difficult erasing -- it is just like bargain barrel doodle makers. I would not purchase this for family. Therefore, I cannot in good conscience recommend this to other shoppers. This magnetic drawing board measures approx. 10 1/2 long at its widest point and 7 1/2 tall. It has an attached 'pen' and three stamps which are cleverly attached to the board (and can be removed) via three holes on the right hand side.The board itself (the bit you write on) measures 6 x 4. and is coloured so it's green blue yellow and red. It's nifty because you can take the stamps and slide them on the board and watch the colours appear as is by magic.The slide erase device is at the bottom and I found that I had to swipe back and forth several times to wipe out the pictures or lettering put on the board.I own other magnetic boards and I was very disappointed in one brand I bought as when children lean on it (as they tend to do) it's easy to crack the plastic framing. THIS board avoids that as a) it's smaller so children are less likely to lean on it and b) the yellow frame really adds strength to the magnetic board itself. I liked that feature. That said, this is great for travel. You can put it in the car and then pull it out when you need it. I also like the finger shape handle.
