Nice Cameras and NVR, bad functionality
PROS:Nice video quality, resolution. The cameras themselves has a very nice and easy-to-use interface to which you can set-up and adjust the quality, resolution, frame rate, language, motion detection and other settings.DVR can support two 4TB hard disks, great for archiving several weeks of 1080p video.BAD:The NVR functionality is kinda of sketchy. I haven't been able to get a properly working APP for the android nor iPhone. This NVR uses the standard HTTP 80 port and RTSP 554 port. The supplied desktop software does not has the ability to remotely fetch video files form this system, which depending on your situation, will defeat the purpose of why get the system in the first place anyways.Typically the NVR will be placed in the main office and there will be a person nearby to play with it and have physical access to it. In my case the NVR is three blocks away from the main office, and like i said the supplied software does not have the ability to fetch videos remotely.THE APP (danale, danale.com) only worked in the iPhone, but the first channel only. I have 9 cameras with this system and i need to see all 9 channels (or 16 channels as this system supports)THE WEB viewer works to see all the cameras, thank goodness, but the menus dont fricking work, what is up with this? i am assuming you can download videos remotely via the web interface, but the plug in doesnt work too well with IE11. Maybe an earlier version?OVERALL. The system works Ok, if it only had a better web interface response, and dedicatred app, and desktop software that supported remote video download
