Backseat Entertainment Car Organizer

I got 2 of these for my 2 daughters who are still in car seats. My older daughter had a real issue with how close it is to her. I mean, she had to spread her legs to sit comfortably. She hated the pockets and thought they seem unstable to me. I tried putting books in the pocket designed for them and they lay oddly even though the carrier is firmly fixed to the seat. I have a mid-sized SUV and thought there would be enough space since her feet do not hit the seat in front of her but the pockets of this are wide it stands out about 2 inches from the seat back. I think it will be better when they are out of car seats but I had hoped they could double as a seat protector from kicks and it won't. I would get these when my kids are out of car seats but may need to modify them some to get a better fit to our seats since they are sort of loose. I also wonder if they will work 'better' if the seats are straight up and down as opposed to slightly reclined. Either way, you should be able to tighten the bottom tight enough to keep it firm and, you can't. I recommend this for older back seat passengers. It won't work well with car seated passengers.

I had high hopes for this item from what others are saying about it. We have an 2002 4 door Explorer, our daughter is 3 years old, I am 5 ft 6 in., just to give you some info you may need. I put the organizer on the back of the driver's seat and moved my 3yo in front of it. She could not put her feet in front of her, nor could she get in and out of her car seat by herself. It stuck out way too far, almost touching the front of the car seat. She had to straddle it when sitting in her car seat. I moved her back to the middle and moved the organizer to the back of the passenger seat, she can't reach it but I can while driving and hand her what she is asking for. I think that once she is in a booster seat instead of a car seat it will work well.

I got this as an organizational device for my car because for work I spend a lot of time in it and I do all my morning routines and night time routines in my car, so all of that stuff needs to be with me (face cleansing wipes, makeup remover wipes, medicine, vitamins, protein shakes, deodorant, perfume, hair spray, brush, comb, hair ties and bobby pins, makeup pouch, gum, two water bottles, and more). It is just like in the picture and the size of all the pockets is great. If you're getting this for a child to keep things to do in the backseat, I would say this has more than enough room for many options for the child to pick from. Coloring books or comics, snacks, beverages, hand held game systems, there's that awesome tissue box holder, if you have a baby there is definitely room for all the stuff from your diaper bag, and if you're using it for something like I am it works great too. It seems durable so far and I have no complaints.

Nice for storage for small things and cds. Wish there was a way to fit bigger pockets on a back seat organizer though or that one of the big pockets had a flap lid too. Pockets look bigger in the picture to me. I will say one of the bottom pockets will hold quite a few of my child's books. Not much if any room for toys. It is well made. We have used it for over a year now. There are not many options for back of the seat storage that are better-all small pockets... I have looked.

I was originally looking for something that would protect the back of the driver's seat from kid footprint damage, and decided to get some additional storage. I find that this is a little bulky and thus eats into the space between the front and back, but my vehicle is a compact one. The manufacturer photo shows it completely stuffed with items, but mine isn't and I am constantly finding things that were in it on the floor. So unless you plan on completely filling it, expect the same.

I love this because I have a car blanket on the bottom pocket. All the other 13 pockets have stuff in them from CDs to flashlight to emergency medication (advil, Clartin, etc).I would recommend this for a car with a little more leg room than my sedan style car. My passengers have to 'spread' their legs around the organizer in order to sit, so I wish it was a bit smaller, but besides that its the best behind the seat organizer out there.

If you want a back seat kick protection, it does a perfect job. As far as an organizer is concerned, it does a good job at it too. However, if you want to get things out of it..... .... not so easy. It is really to no fault of the design of this bag/kick board. If you need this, it means your kid is small and sitting in a 5 point harness car seat, that means your kid cannot bend over to retrieve items from this organizer. If you try to grab the stuff from the front seat, good luck doing that. Still I don't blame it on this organizer. The organizer is fine, its just not as great an idea as I have imagined it to be.

Can't use it for the backseat. Some people in Amazon had the same problem. It is too tight unless you have a very large vehicle and the seat is pushed all the way to the front. I did, however ... use it for the middle seat in the back and it works perfect. But, the idea of using it as a backseat is not a good idea.
