Axion Archery Pulse Automatic Arrow Rest

The one I received was noisy. Not the typical slap you may get from a drop down but had a spring binding sound. Odd.. And I chased a fletching contact problem around with this rest that I never had with my QAL HDX rest. On top of everything else every every now and then the fork would mechanically disconnect internally from whatever mechanism is inside. I could manually move the fork back into position and feel it re-engage. Maybe it was just this one... Maybe it was just me but never had these issues with any other rests I have tried.

This rest is very nice when it is working correctly. I was shooting good groups at the range out to 50 yards. I then went to a 3D course and after a few targets,noticed the rest had gotten considerably louder. I looked down and there were wear marks on the wheel for the launcher arm and a lot of fluid leaking from it. While the rest never actually stopped working, it was far too loud now and something was obviously wrong with it internally. I really liked it when it worked though.

The Axion automatic rest works perfectly on my Bowtech Carbon Icon. Easy to adjust and once it's on, you don't have to touch it. No remembering to flip it up and it hold your arrow without it coming out in any position.

Bought this rest and there was a rattle from a metal washer. I called Axion and spoke with Dave who is the manager and inventor of this rest. He said there are companies selling the older models that do have that problem. He paid for it to be sent back to him and he gave me a brand new model for no charge. The new model is AMAZING! Super quiet and still so fast that it is literally impossible to see it go down and reset with the naked eye. When people complain that the fletching is hitting the rest it's because they did not read the instructions. There are 4 speeds on the rest. By putting the rest on speed 3 and and put baby powder on the rest you will see that it will not hit. The speeds are for the speed of your bow. If you have a slower bow then you don't need such a high speed. Bottom line is I have bought this and all of my friends have bought this as well. Actually went to Scheels the other day and they said they are going to call their rep to get them in stock they were so pleased by them.
