My little boy loved his so much he hasn't put it down since Christmas, too busy going around making "magic jelly"! Like someone else has said though, it could do with more colour options. I mean buying my son a fairy wand doesn't obviously mean that he loves pink, I mean he does but he would have preferred orange. Just like I know several little girls that would love to make theirs in blue or green.Other than that it's a lovely item that you and the kids will have fun decorating. My two year old sadly just broke his magic jellying a wall but I have no problem buying him another one given how much fun he's had out of it.

My little boy loved making this and is very proud of his wand. He is only 2 and a half but loves crafts and glitter. Just enough glitter glue and sparkly jewels for a very enthusiastic toddler. He is only disappointed that it doesn't turn his brother into a frog, although he stopped the thunderstorm last night with it ;-)

Good quality product. Sadly very gender stereotypical - girls have wands boys have trucks - so little choice of colour for my boys to make their wands.

Gift for my 4 year olds school friend - got good feed back - i have bought other Melissa and Dough "make your own" sets for presents in the past and this one didnt look like such a big present as the other sets i have bought in the past (ie. treasure chest/jewellery box/car/train).

Bought this for my 2 year old (at the time) and we decorated it our selves. the gems and glitter were plenty for us to go wild :) gets lots of play. only niggle is the stick separates some times. I had horrid feeling the star was going to fly out and land in someone's head, so I have super glued them to make it safe. looks lovely and has lasted a while! still going strong.

This product is fantastic. My neice is obsessed with being a princess....so a wand was perfect for her. We sat together and decorated it which she really enjoyed....all the little bits worked great for.decoration and then we played Frozen lol.fast and efficient delivery and i would buy the other products from Melissa and Doug to try.

Bought for Christmas so not used yet, however we have had lots of other Melissa and Doug sets like this and all have be great fun and really good to do with my children. Can’t wait to try this.

It's ok I guess. Wooden wand you can decorate. Bought for a present for a 4 year old. Not as good as other M&D products I bought.
