The top left rear corner broke off and the small area that holds the magnet (on the back right side about the middle of the long length) broke and the magnet fell out. This cover was on a fire tablet owned by an 85 year old woman who uses it daily to play solitaire games. I live with her and care for her and I know of 3 drops onto thick carpeted flooring. I had hoped the cover would last longer than 1 year, but the corner broken within 6 months and the magnet area broken just at the 1 year mark. Would I buy it again? No.

Pros: 1. This will keep your tablet standing up if you place it on a hard surface and leave it alone.2. It does protect the tablet and allow it to charge when closed up.Cons: 1. It's very rigid and stiff, so if you bump it or move it, it will not hold the upright position and falls over. The flap will not stay on the back of the tablet due to lack of magnet.2. Not good for placing on your lap or pillow while binging movies in bed (see point above), which is how I mostly use it.I would probably purchase something more higher end if I had to do it again just for the fact that I use the tablet as I mentioned above. It's an okay cover, but just not for me.

As a cover, does the job nicely. Problem comes in when you open it and try to keep a good hold of the Fire unit. For use on a desk or such, perfect! Would recommend.

I love it I bought another brand but the sides broke. The sides are solid. It is also leather. I love red so I can find it on my bed. Had black and always lost it. I have dropped my Kindle many times and this case has protected my Kindle. It falls off the bed. The only problem I have had is with charger cords bending. I have gotten better charger cords. I like being able to read the book in lansdscape with the holder. I am pleased with these cases. I am an avid reader and have gone through so many cases.

This product is lightweight to the point of questionable protection. I can't see how it would protect from dropping on corners, there doesn't seem to be any shock absorption.

The case fits my Fire 8 HD tablet perfectly and holds it tight. When you open the cover, the tablet comes out of sleep mode. It protects the unit from spills and gives you access to all the ports and buttons. The charging cable is accessible without any issues as well. I like the brown color because it is different than any other color we have in the house for our electronics.

This tablet case works fine for me. It is a good protection for my tablet. I like the light blue color, too. I will say that the idea of folding it as a kind of low angled "stand" for the tablet does not work very well. I don't really use it that way. Mostly I just use it for protection.

This tablet case wasn't too costly but it is absolutely useful. I have a blue fire 8 tablet and didn't want a black cover. This had a blue option as well which is very good. It doubles as a stand for the tablet which is why I got this to begin with and it works very well. The cover is magnetic and closes neatly. The back and corners are sturdy and it should withstand small falls. Overall it's very good value.
