Looks like real rattan but horrible smell.
I used this to get a faux rattan look on a craft I was doing and it turned out well, however the offgassing was horrible. The smell was there an entire week afterwards and finally dissipated. I used this in a craft room so it was bearable, but if you put this in a bedroom or somewhere you are often keep in the mind there is significant offgassing.

I used this to top off a couple night stand tables in my daughter's bedroom. It looks nice and gives some "pop" on a budget. I wish it came with a little more. It's not the most generously sized item. You might more than one, depending on what you are doing.

A bit too thin for the cabinet shelf!
We wanted to use them as shelf liner for the cabinet under both our bathroom and kitchen sinks. They're too thin and couldn't stay put. I doubt they are any good against normal use (tear and wear). A bit disappointed!
