BeamsWork 12"-16" Single Bright Power LED Aquarium Light Fixture 200

Looks great on my 8g cube, really makes everything pop and my freshwater plants are growing as well. Plus the price point was awesome.Pros:excellent coverage of lightvery slim, looks greatadjustable "legs"Cons:The cord could be a bit longer. In my desk setup it routes nicely through a cable tube but is just barely long enough. Another 6" would make a big difference. That being said, it really isn't enough to take away a star.

I purchased this light fixture to replace a 18in CF light for my saltwater reef refugium. It shipped quickly and undamaged. Once plugged in the light didnt work, so i "jiggled" the cord at the base of the cord at the wall plug and saw a flicker. I removed the one screw to open it up and realized one wire was barely attached. I re-crimped it, closed up and its worked great since. This was my only issue. It grows the micro algae and the shallow plants i have well. 4/5 stars.

Pros: metal housing, glass guard for the led's, metal legs, switch to have all lights on or just blue moonlightsCons: non so farGot this for my planted 5.5gl after my marineland led light went missing (don't ask lol). Just got the light a few hours ago and my first impressions were good. Seems like a fairly high quality build, metal housing with plexiglass guard for the leds. Very bright and makes a nice shimmering effect and at $30 its a bargain!

Bright LEDs with two modes. Fits perfectly onto my 2.5g nano tank. Unfortunately the modes must be activated physically with a switch, so you can't put the thing on a timer to have both modes. My plants are growing quite nicely. Pics taken about a month apart. Good growth; have also been adding Excel Flourish.

I have an octagon tank so trying to find a replacement lamp for it wasn't easy. This one works great, makes my tank look awesome and love the blue night lights. Gives the tank a moonlit glow and my glow fish look awesome. Fits great on top of my old hood.

Just installed this on my sons 5 gallon fresh water. What a difference it made on the look. It originally had a 3 bulb led light. It always looked dim. This light really makes it so much more bright. It seems to be made well, very sturdy and stays in place securely. For the money I don't think I can go wrong. You can see the difference in my attached photos

lighted area was okay, but the light fixture itself was not a full 12" as i expected. The area in all corners of the tank are notsuffiently lite. the plants directly under the light are doing good.

This light works great on small tanks like the aqueon 8. It is about 4x brighter than the light that came with the tank. The light is put together well and seems fairly durable.
