BeamsWork 24"-30" Hi Lumen LED Aquarium Light Fixture 60 48x0.5W

I've had this light for two weeks and the fish, plants, and I are enjoying them. The lights play well with the water and helps the fish look like the float in air. My plecos are more active and don't hide behind the driftwood all day. As for my plants, I am seeing some new growth, but time will tell if I need to supplement with more fert or co2. My only problem with the light is the switch itself isn't sealed. I worry that water vapor could be the demise of these lights if your tank isn't covered. I'd recommend these lights to anyone looking for good intermediate lighting.Update: 3/4/16I just noticed that 3 of the Less on the unit are starting to flicker. My worries about longevity might have been correct. I reached out to the manufacturer and am waiting to hear back.

I ordered this LED light fixture to improve the lighting in my 36 gallon bowfront aquarium. While the existing flourescent tube light looked OK, it did not support live plants well. This fixture output is quite impressive. The color is much better and really enhances the natural color of the tropical fish in the tank. The live plants look better. Time will tell on it's true effectiveness.

Bought this light for my 30 gallon. My German blue rams look iridescent colors really popped!! Really great light for the price. I also have a marineland for my 75 gallon african cichlids. And a national geographic for my 10 gallon and a fluval for my 40 gallon. Out of all those lights this beams work is the best!!

Fits my 20 gallon tank perfectly. I have it resting on top of the back of my glass cover. The blue light effect looks better in person than I can take pictures of. Online price was 1/3 of what I could find local for exact same light.

It is great that the support brackets on the ends can be removed and flipped, and they extend quite far to make this very adaptable to different tanks. It seems sturdy, looks very sleek and streamlined, different light modes work well.

Simple, cheap, dont put it on a small tank, like a 10g, way too much light.

Received the light in great shape. Lights up the tank beautifully. This makes the third Beamswork light I have purchased for energy efficiency and appearance.

Had this for a little while now and it works awesome so far. Really love the brightness and the blue night light.
