Got2b Creative Semi-Permanent Hair Color, 095 Electric Blue

I would consider myself a veteran when it comes to coloring my hair at home via box. I change it regularly and have for over 20yrs. Kids and hubby decided on pink this month, so here we are. I typically go with Splat as I love the fluidity and saturation, but considering it stains the bejesus out of everything in this solar system, I opted for got2b (which is one of those random box dyes that doesnt usually dye the skin too bad).THIS box... SUPER TINY as it was, well, it came with a tiny brush, gloves, a tiny tube of dye, a tiny bag of an "optional dilution for pastel color" and a lil plastic "bowl", versus the traditional liquid/cream bottle.As far as application, it SUCKS. You get a tiny plastic box worth of paste that doesnt spread AT ALL (I even added a bit of my own conditioner to loosen it!). You can tell they did this for monetary gain moreso than environmental friendliness.I didnt even do my whole head! Just the one layer of white I had over my black hair. Granted the finshed product is pretty, I wont be buying it again. Splat is a pain in the arse to apply, but it gives me confidence in knowing I will OVERLY get the job done, lol.P.s. It DOES NOT make your hair healthier. My before pic was simply air dried (I have wavy hair) and post-colored I blow-dried it).And yes, reds/pinks make caucasian skin look PALER, lol. (No makeup/filter, Both pics same day)

I simply love all Got2b's colors, but this one added a new pop to my hair color. I have used it over 100% of my hair and used as as "low lights" with blonde. Got2b is so easy to use and long lasting. My hair feels so soft and conditioned afterwards, too!

I don't know if it was a fluke, or maybe our box was really old product. I guess I'm trying to find a way to excuse the fact that 1) It has terrible/lack of good directions, and 2) The little direction you find says to leave on for 5 min (yeah right!), 3) the amount of product you get to use is so little, one would have to buy multiple boxes to color more than just a handleful of strands/chunks, 4) Left it on for 5 min and it did absolutely nothing (on my daughter's lighter color of hair), 5) So, I did it a second time and left it in longer, still was barely colored when we rinsed.Don't waste your money and time.

This dye worked well but was incredibly creamy and thick in consistency making it difficult to cover a large amount of hair with the amount given in a single box. I put the dye over untreated hair of a medium brown color and it definitely showed pigment. I saw a noticeable difference but was still pretty disappointed with how the color came out in comparison to what was shown on the box for hair of a similar color to mine. Once I had my hair dyed, the color stayed for a couple months, but I noticed that it was fading in a very uneven and patchy way. I wouldn’t recommend this dye over others I’ve used for achieving a similar color before and after this one. Save your money and try a different brand.

First, I got this product with the intention of the outcome of pastel pink for all my hair. My hair is short, about an inch and a half above my shoulders and my hair is fine so it’s not like a whole lot is needed to cover all my hair even still there was not enough to cover all my hair. And because I was trying to cover all my hair the product was “spread too thin” in my attempt to get all my hair so the final outcome was you can kinda tell there a tinge of color but I’d have to point it out otherwise you wouldn’t notice. If you advertise pastel color, provide enough pastelizer!! With the amount provided I think I might be able to do the bottom inch or so of my hair. I’m also a natural blonde so this product should have worked better if there was enough product.Second, the instructions are god awful! Whoever wrote the instructions for pastel-use, needs to revisit what they wrote.
