Overpriced for the quality
I just received these candles and wanted to review promptly as there weren’t many reviews which first hindered me from purchasing. I read a lot of reviews for similar candles and all were hit or miss which is most likely the case with these as I will explain...They all arrived in tact, not broken and packaged well in 2 layers of styrofoam; each layer with 6 candles and a slot for a remote within the box. I was at first and I’m still kind of disappointed that there is only 1 remote for all 12 candles as there is a slot for 2 remotes, looking back at the description it does say there is only 1 remote but I know other sellers do offer 2. I plan to use these candles in 2 separate rooms so this will lead to some issues down the line. I plan to ask the seller about how to purchase another remote, the option for a second remote should be included in the listing I think. The Candles: They are thinner than I expected. I expected the diameter to be a few inches thicker. The battery door is one of the major flaws of these candles, it is hard to get off and more importantly it does not sit flush so the candle wobbles and does not sit flush on its surface. This isn’t the case with all of them but a few of them have this issue. I first thought 2 didn’t work because of the battery door. I had to put the candle upside down and wiggle door and it turned on. There is no photo or explanation of where the positive and negative of the battery go so you have to guess, a simple annoyance. The majority of candles in the second box had what I initially thought was melted wax strewn on the bottom as well as inside the candle where the wires are but I realized this is glue. While picking the glue off the bottom of candle my fingers started burning and turned bright red—I am sensitive to chemicals but this was a bit much. It was dried glue.Remote: when using the remote you have to be right in front of the candles pointed directly at it. I had candles on 2 areas of table and pointed at one area and the other ones didn’t shut off. I can’t attest to the timers yet but will update on their performance. If you use the remote to shut off they will be on the same setting when you turn them on.Light Settings: There isn’t a huge variation between the dimming and brightness, but it is noticeable side by side as you can see in the photos. It starts with the flicker feature which I don’t particular care for, looks like the battery is dying, but it’s a cool feature I suppose. The “flame” and light it puts out is orangey, I don’t care for it much but most have this tone variation.***Photos of 2 candle light comparison: on left is highest setting and right lowest setting.Overall: These are EXTREMELY overpriced to have this many issues. The actual cost to have these made are pennies (they are made in China). I understand resale value, but to have so many flaws at such a high price is disappointing. These are worth a few dollars at best and I would be satisfied paying a few dollars for them. If they included batteries they would possibly be worth half of what they are sold for, but having to buy 24 batteries on top of paying $25 is now absurd that I’m thinking about it. I may be more disappointed with myself than the actual candles!!

Cheaply made.
Bought these for my daughter's wedding reception. Some of the candles would not work while the battery packs kept falling out of the bottom on several others.
