The starter fit just as promised, works flawlessly and I have nothing to complain about. The solenoid was easily adjusted to fit the wiring. So far so good.

Starter is very strong. My 944 cranks easier than it ever has since I've owned it. It also solved the magnetic interference my rebuilt starter was giving the crank position sensor causing detonation on startup (look up the TSB from Porsche). So far, excellent purchase.

This starter blows away the original Porsche OEM starter! The car starts faster and this starter sounds like it should be on a new 911. It draws much less power than the old one but spins faster. I was a little worried since the price was so low, but it is worth much more.

great price especially as it is an all new starter, Different Porsche 944 models and years had the solenoid mounted in different positions. I asked and got an answer for the simple process used to rotate it to the correct position for my '85.5 year. It gives a nice strong spin up now.
