Every Army Man Is with You: The Cadets Who Won the 1964 Army-Navy Game, Fought in Vietnam, and Came Home Forever Changed

Repetitive
I enjoyed the book, but found the chapters about the players themselves repetitive. Each one began with a brief description of the player's role in the game, described the player's background, discussed his reaction to Beast Week (nearly all the same) and then far too briefly talked about the player's experience in Vietnam and a little about how it changed or didn't change him.

I would highly recommend it from both a military and football standpoint
A superb accounting of a pivotal game in the Army-Navy Football history and the aftermath in terms of the war time service and beyond of many of those who played in it. I would highly recommend it from both a military and football standpoint.

Whatever Happened to Ole What's his Name?
Excellent book; I saw the game in Philadelphia with a USMA '55 classmate and always wondered what happened to the participants after graduation. We all know about Roger Staubach, but the others have never made any more headlines.

More than Football
So well written! As a 1965 USMA grad, this book stirred deep emotions and memories of not only that game, but of my whole life in the context of West Point.
