Big Agnes Dream Island 15° Sleeping BagSynthetic Fill Big Agnes System Bags Built For TwoLike your own bed in the backcountry! Our Doublewide Series eliminates the need to zip two bags together so there’s nothing keeping you apart from your cuddle bug in your tent, van, or wherever you need a super comfy bed. The much improved Dream Island 15 is insulated with FireLine Max synthetic; a 50% post-consumer recycled insulation with blended fibers that maximize a warm sleep experience. The Flex Pad Sleeve on the bottom makes connecting two pads or stretching around a doublewide pad easier and fast than ever while still allowing the soft shell fabric on top and cozy cotton/poly lining inside to drape like the comforter on your bed. So snuggle in for the night, this might be your best night's rest under the stars.

Big and cozy, matches the BA double pad perfectly.
I first bought the Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Ultra Double pad and tried using it with a Nemo Double sleeping quilt. That didn't work well because of size mismatch. So I looked into what could match the double BA pad and there weren't many options. This bag matched the BA double pad perfectly. It has neat corner pockets where you can secure the pad quickly. Once the pad is in, the sleeping bag is really snug on top. No shifting or flopping around. If you're considering this sleeping bag you should really match it with the BA double pad. They work together. The bag itself is quite warm and fluffy. I haven't tried it out in cold weather yet, but I'd be confident with it down to 30F. It has some neat features like side zippers so you don't have to slide in from the top. This bag is BIG and hefty, but I can stuff it in the bottom of 80L backpack. You can take this monster sleeping bag backpacking! It's not for the hyperlight crowd, but then again there are no options out there that come close to the comfort of this bag. If you want real warmth and coziness for a couple out on the trail, this is it.

Amazing
We purchased this sleeping bag for some fall camping this year. My hubby and I wanted a double and this bag is perfect! It's cozy and very warm, roomy and easy to set up. We had plenty of room and even had our toddler sleep between us. Works best with a double sleeping mat although two singles worked as well.

Love it!
This bag has grown on me. I didn’t love it at first because I am used to a traditional sack. But for camping with my partner, this has been so comfortable. It feels like a bed more than a sleeping bag.

Would not recommend due to underside of bag
The sleeping bag has a lot of great features and is perfectly sized for two people with some extra room. That being said, there is what seems to be a major oversight in that the underside of the bag is essentially just a sheet. I imagine it’s this way to cut down on volume and weight, the issue is that it makes the bag very uncomfortable even with a 50” big Agnes sleeping pad. Another side effect of the virtually non-existent underside is that it’s extremely cold and I can’t see how this would possibly hold up to the 15° rating. The old dream island must have had a different design as I would definitely not recommend this bag unless you put down a heavy blanket between the bag and sleeping pad - which, if your car camping could be a possibility. But for a premium price and a size that you’re definitely not going to take into the back country anyway, I expected it to hold up much better on its own.

Great for those who like to turn when they sleep and super warm
Read so many reviews before buying because of the price. We made the investment because we went camping and the temperatures were forecast to go down into the 20s. We used our own mats to insulated the ground. We used a Mylar blanket as a first layer, 2 cheap foam mats from Walmart, and a camping self-inflating mat that we bought at Costco. We slept with 3 layers of clothes and hand warmers inside my double wool socks and gloves. We had a great sleep in our coldest camping adventure. The next night the temperature was in the low 30s and we had to go down to only one layer of clothes and slept amazing in this sleeping bag. If you can afford it, go for it. Also the design that wraps around the mat helps you stay ON the mat without sliding is perfect. I took one star off because the zipper sucks. It got stuck every time we tried to get in or out.

wanted to love it:(
I do like the color and the back pad design. However, it is very large and hard for a person to pack without looking a little goofy. I thought it would compress more because the description says down insulation. Friends, this is not the case. It is hollow plastic, poor for packing, no insulative properties when wet, and simply less comfortable, not to mention far cheaper to produce.

Camping for 2
Enough space that it didn't feel cramped with two people, but cozy enough to make for an enjoyable camping experience.
