This allows them to be both breathable and waterproof, controlling the amount of condensation that occurs from perspiration. The Munro Salopettes are used by Mountain Rescue Teams and Tactical Forces, and are capable of tackling any mountain in the world. They are comfortable, warm and fully tape sealed. The Munro Salopettes are durable with a reinforced knee, seat, and inner ankle. They include a built-in non-slip rubber snow gaiter and adjustable elasticated braces. It has a Velcro adjuster at the back and the ankle to ensure an easily amendable fit. There is a full length leg zip with stormflap and a front zipped fly. Fantastic outdoor gear, but sizes come up small, just order a size up from normal
Absolutely brilliant product. I live in Orkney, off the north coast of Scotland and have been wearing mine virtually every time I've been out for a walk over the winter. The sizes come up small, had to send XL back and swap for XXL. These now fit fine, are well thought out and really comfortable. Full length zips behind storm flaps mean you can get in and out of them whatever you're wearing on your feet. They are warm, I've only needed thin thermals or leggings under them and they've laughed off all the wind and rain Orkney can throw at them. And Orkney does the wind and rain thing exceptionally wellFour star review would be five if the sizing was in the real world, just buy a size up and enjoy them and the great outdoors👌

Perfect for Snowboarding
Fantastic salopettes. I ordered large when in fact I am definitely medium and they fitted perfectly, so follow the advice and get one size up.I used them for snow boarding and they worked perfectly, no snow up the back when floundering in deep powder.100% waterproof and wind proof when in rain and wind whilst on the ski lifts. Used in conjunction with USAF arctic wear bomber jacket and I have found the holy grail of board gear. Finally after 20 years!

Excellent bib salopettes
Bought these for skiing as wanted a pair of bib salopettes rather than just trousers. They are excellent. Gaiter fits over ski boots no problem. I wear some thermals under them as they are not warm themselves. Worn skiing in -11c and no problem with just some thermal long johns.If I have one very minor grumble I would prefer zipped hand pockets to be added either side but otherwise they are excellent. Keep my back nice and warm too.Highly recommended

Best ski pants (so far)
I really like these salopettes. I find them a little tight, especially when having to do all the bending to get my boots on - but once I'm out on the slopes I think they are excellent. Probably a case of me needing to be smaller rather than the sizing of the salopettes.

Great item!
I ordered these as I've been looking for skiing bibs that fit for months.I'm female, nearly 6ft tall, size ten and ordered a medium long and they fitted perfectly. I worn them on a ski trip to Morzine last week and was impressed. They are a little bit on the pricey side but worth the money when your in a snow storm!

Very good.
They feel a touch tight when putting on over trousers, but fit really well. They allow movement, are waterproof and warm, but not too much. Used in Scotland in November in moderate rain with very wet ground. They seem heavy to carry, but did not notice. Full length zip excellent to get in and out of.
