Wasn't sure that the product was going to be an actual SAMSUNG product but, I didn't really worry about it b/c I needed to replace my lost charger desperately. Was pleasantly surprised to get the brand name one. Works so far, so good.

I own an old Galaxy S5 Samsung phone. The charging port has a "dent" preventing many chargers from successfully attaching and charging my phone. I have to wiggle the cord in the port just to get the charging light to come on. Well, those chargers were the single port variety. So I decided to try the same charger as the original packaged charger when I bought the phone (2014). Works perfectly. I didn't think it would fit the port because of the dent. It fits so snuggly, I don't have to wiggle anything. It begins charging as soon as I plug it in. It chargers so fast. Done in less than 2 hrs when the other chargers would take 4 or 5 hours (do to the intermittent charging). I highly recommend you use the same brand of charger as the phone you have. Samsung for Samsung. I won't make that mistake again. Would purchase again without hesitation.

Maybe I got a defective one, but this charger does not charge--at all. The cord seems okay (it works with other bases), but the plug-in base seems deeply flawed. In fact, it sounds as if there is something loose shaking around inside it. Really disappointed to have to go through returning it, getting another one, yada, yada, yada. :(UPDATE: the seller is issuing a partial refund without my having to ship it back, so that's pretty good. I assume there are a few flawed units in every batch, and they dealt with it well. Thank you.

This will work for a different device what I received was not the model\part in the description. The charger is 5.0v not 5.3v as the actual model and pictures state. We have 2 tablets and one required the 5.3v charger\model in the description or it will not charge the other can used the 5.0v charger so we are keeping it this time to use on the other system. But will have to continue looking for the TRUE version of this part number which is a 5.3v model of the charger to replace the charger that went bad.Not happy with the product because what is described and stated in specs is NOT what we received.

My father left his charger during a recent hospital stay. He and Mom have the same phone, so there was one charger still in the house. However she is leaving in a few days for a brief family trip, so needed a second one. Has worked great so far, in fact ordered a second one just in case.
