Wanted to write to respond to people concerned about the taste. In the past, I've used pure rhodiola root as a tea. I'm interested the purported health effects, particularly as they relate to mood and memory. The taste of the pure root isn't pleasant but it's certainly not horrible -- earthy and rooty. I was a little concerned after reading other reviews here, but the taste of this blend is actually very nice. It tastes like candy compared to using pure rhodiola root. I imagine real care was used in in balancing this flavor profile. I resteeped the tea three times before discarding, and the strong, sweet, distinct lychee note was still coming through strong on the third. I would highly recommend this for someone looking for a rhodiola blend.

I am currently suffering from adrenal fatigue. I read that rhodiola helps. After reading reviews, bought this. It certainly gave me more energy. The lichee taste comes through nicely. However, it also increased my heart rate a lot. Did some more research, checked the product, and found out that this is predominantly lychee flavored black tea, with just a little bit of rhodiola root. I now buy pure rhodiola root loose tea. It gives me the energy without the side effects of caffeine. I wouldn't this buy again.

Good taste, not great, but for a herbal tea it is pretty good and a teaspoon of honey makes it just right. Get a sense of well being from sipping a cup or two a day.

I don't know why other reviewers say that it doesn't taste good. It's black tea with Rhodiola, and it does taste just like black tea would to me.

May be healing and balancing, but doesn't taste good. :-( Won't buy again and sorry I now have 2 bags. Would be better to sell smaler quantities so one can try it out without spending too much money. I won't buy tea again without tasting it first.

I can't understand how folks don't like the taste of this tea. Those of you who don't like it should sell your unopened bags to me! I tend to be a little low in the morning, but coffee makes me race. Black tea is certainly less activating than coffee, but the tea along with the rhodiola provide a nice even "lift" without jitters or a subsequent crash. The rhodiola and lychee add a mild fruity / flowery taste, but nothing too strong. I drink it plain as I'm a natural / organic / whole foods kind of gal.

I bought this because of it's supposed energizing qualities. Unfortunately, it tastes like poo. And now I am stuck with two packs of it.

I have been drinking this tea every day for the last few years and I love it. I have some stomach problems and I've had to give up my coffee habit. I add honey to my tea and it is absolutely delicious. Sometimes I add a dash of vanilla almond milk or coconut milk. Either way, it is a very smooth tea. It gives me a lift yet a sense of well being. I look forward to my morning cup (sometimes two).
