Beats an $80 Wax Appointment
You have to be a glutton for torture to self wax! What worked for me (and my lady parts): Instead of applying and letting the wax harden in an effort to pull off in a single strip, apply the wax and start pulling when it’s semi-hardened and still playable. I used a motion similar to getting lent off a sweater with tape. Pull small pieces of the wax off, stick it to another small piece and keep pulling, repeat. It was several months between my first and second attempts, but once I figured out this method, it got the job done!

PHENOMENAL PRODUCT - New Favorite!!
I was pleasantly surprised at many things on this wax dililiatory product!1). It melts faster & smoother than any other microwaveable one I’ve ever tried before.(Note: it may look like a softened solid on-too; but poke the spatula down in the middle and youll see that it’s liquid underneath!)2). I reheated it the next day to help my adult daughter do a little waxing - and it melted and worked JUST as efficiently and perfectly as the first time! This is something that has always bothered me about other brands’ waxes - they *may* work decently the first time, but all subsequent reheats are sub-par, to say the least!3). IT WORKED!!!I am a proud Irishwoman. That also comes with thick, coarse, curly hair ....and a LOT of it (even in places I don’t want hair to be! 😃 LOL)Literally ONE application met my (very picky & distinct) needs ....without ripping my skin off!!! That’s always a plus, right? It worked on Lip, Chin, Brows and Underarms. Also, there is a very subtle almost-miss-it scent with this wax that was NOT overpowering or gross. It simply ....was. And it was pleasant! This Clan of Strong Irish Women HIGHLY recommend this microwaveable product! The only recommendation I could make for improvement, would be to include a variety of sizes/shapes of the wooden spatulas so that tiny, detailed areas can be addressed with precision.Lastly, if you would like for my clan to try your other products and give honest & thorough feedback, we’re game! You have our order & contact info - we’d love to partner on this and discover the other items you offer! ☘️👍

It's okay, but not the best
Easy to warm up. I probably did a total of 2 minutes in the beginning. Had to mix it a little in between then warm it up again. I like the tub that it comes in. The edges help the wax stay inside when you wipe the stick to remove excess. I did have to use several popsicle sticks compared to other waxes because it would get thick and harden so it was easier to use a new one each time I went back to warm up the wax again. I made thick strips with the wax so it would be easier to pull off. It didn't remove all my facial hair so I didn't like that, but it didn't hurt a lot. It was very doable pain. It helped get rid of most hair so I'll probably try again tomorrow on those areas that still have some hair. I removed little wax spots that were left with baby oil.

It works well in small areas - tricky to get just right
The real trick to this wax, get it really warm but not hot (you need it just a bit thinner than honey), don’t put a lot on (work small areas like ears, nose hair, etc), before you let it cool start a pull of tab opposite the way your hair grows, let it cool 1-1.5 minutes.Besides this, I find q-tips better to apply it than wooden sticks. It’s not the easiest to work with, but for ear and nose hair it is fine for me.

This Hard wax is softer than other waxes.
This was gentle. It was easier than old style wax machines.

Better waxes out there for sure
I was not a fan of this wax - it was not very easy to use, have to reheat extremely often in order to keep the wax workable and has a putrid, chemically smell. That type of smell that makes you think twice about applying to your body. I used about a third of it on my armpits, and I was not very happy with the results. I then tried it on my bikini area and it ripped a chunk of my skin off….. yeah. I threw it out immediately after that happened.

Perfect for beginners
This was super easy to use for my first time using this type of wax. It was almost painless(no more painful than a needle prick or being pinched)...for me. I’ve paid for waxing that was way more painful and these were professionals using strips. I was able to wax my whole face without the wax cooling down. I have enough left of the one container that I should be able to do my inner thighs. It took about 2 minutes in the microwave but I’m assuming it’s because it snowed on the day it was delivered so the wax was extra hardened. I did 1 full minute then another 4 15 minute intervals to get it completely melted but not burned. Will be using this product instead of going to a salon going forward

Not a complete fail but....
I've uses this product twice. Once for underarms and also face/chin. Took some getting used to. Wax didn't melt as described. Took almost 2 minutes to get it to stir. It did a decent job removing the hair but definitely not as clean as expected. Had to put on pretty thick and wait at least 2 min for it to dry enough to pull. It was fairly painless though I have a high tolerance so waxing is not high on my pain scale. It did cool and harden pretty easily but the top didn't fit as smoothly with the hardened wax on it. Consistency was not right. It was drippy in places and then lumpy. It never mixed completely. I wouldn't by again and this would be a pain for beginner waters. I wouldn't by again. I will stick with wax beads.
