Straps are great, hold up well. Shipping is terrible on these items. ordered numerous times, always show up with internal packaging damaged and box is usually busted open and near destroyed when it shows up.

So far so good ... Genius really so much easier to strap my motorcycle with these.. just pull out and ratchet a few times and ur done. My other straps are Tank straps. These are however much thinner...and I trust the tank straps more ... I trailer a very large bike (800 lbs) so think I will only use these for side rear stability not on the front forks. Maybe it will just take time to develop the confidence in these... for now only non critical applications. As good as and much more convenient than most other straps I will say. If I was trailering a smaller bike I wouldn't think twice I'd have 4 of these

This change from traditional design makes sense, works better and is better than having straps flying around in the wind.

These are very heavy-duty straps compared to all other self-retracting straps I have owned. I took a little time to learn the different way that these straps retract and so far it is a better way. I am pleased with how these straps are built and the additional support and strength they offer.Time will tell when they are exposed to more of the elements, how well they will operate.

How strong it is, and the easy use

I needed tie-downs for my ATV in my trailer. Everything I looked at seemed to have a "working rating" of around 450 pounds. As my ATV is 700 pounds I didn't want to take a chance. Like many of you, I have had the frustration of trying to get ratcheting tie-downs to work, and most of them are pieces of crap. So, I spent the money and bought these Erickson retractable ratcheting tie-downs and they work perfect for me. I wish they were 8 feet instead of 6 feet, as I cross-strap my tie-downs on the underframe of the ATV and have to make sure the ATV is positioned just right as I have only a few inches to work with. But, these tie-downs are easy to use, work as advertised, and make install and remove a lot faster than the cheaper brands.

A buddy had these and I thought, great idea but how long will it work for? Well after excessive use there holding up great. They have been through the mud, rain and snow and still work perfect. No more dealing with excess strapping.

Ordered two sets for camper tie downs. Both orders came super fast. Ratchet works smooth and the release/retract is an awesome feature. Keep properly lubed and replace if any fraying occurs! Turn one hook 1/2 turn before securing, no vibration at highway speeds!
