While the machine feels somewhat lightweight and not overly durable, it does a fine job of uniformly grinding the beans at hand. The grind selector allows you to choose the size suitable for your coffee machine, while the electronic timer lets you grind beans for the appropriate number of cups. Once in a while, when the bean container is full, the beans tend to get caught in the grinder--but a quick shake of the contraption should dislodge any rogue beans and start the grinding action again.
