Telescopic Pencil Case

Summary: A sturdy, adorable pencil case that keeps my middle-schooler organized without becoming a distraction. Holds up well and should last multiple school years. Full Review: I bought this pencil case for my daughter, who is in middle school, and she absolutely loves it. It has plenty of space for her pens, pencils, and small accessories, and the cute design makes her actually want to keep everything organized. One thing I was worried about was whether something this cute might be distracting in class, but we haven’t heard a single concern from her teachers. She takes great care of it and keeps it in excellent shape so she can use it again next school year. The material seems durable, the zipper hasn’t snagged, and it still looks brand new after regular use. For the price and quality, I would definitely purchase this again.

Pretty sturdy and so cute! This let's my granddaughter go from school to home or my house with all her supplies, then instantly becomes a cup of pens on her desk or table. She loves it and I gifted to several granddaughters by getting different colors.

This is such a cute pouch. I bought it for my granddaughter. She keeps all of her painting markers in there. I love that it has a zipper and stands on its own. My only complain is that is only stores about 20-25 markers. She has a bigger set but it’s ok. I’m getting a second one.

Have I used it to transport anything, no. Have I even tested the zipper, no. But is it so cute holding my sewing markers etc. on my shelf. If it was carried around in a bag I don't know how long it would take for the kitty to wear off.

Long enough to zip over Gelly Roll pens, Posca paint pens, Copic markers, and Prismacolor colored pencils (although colored pencils will likely to stain the cloth with pigment dust). It's too short for a brand-new unsharpened #2 pencil with an eraser unless you situate it diagonally. I like that it's not hard-sided because I don't have to worry about crushing it in my backpack. It's made of a padded canvas-like cloth that is about as stiff as new jeans. The bottom was folded like a grocery bag for shipping, so it has a crease that causes it to fall over when it's empty, but if it is at least half full, it will stand up like a cup when you slide the top down, just like the picture shows. I put 25 Jelly Roll pens in it and it isn't even half full. There are some flat little inside pockets along one side of the lining that could hold special pens or erasers or makeup brushes, etc.

The idea of this pencil case is amazing and works really well. And it is also very cute!

My preschooler can have some trouble returning pencils into the original box. I don’t want to get a big pencil box, and the smaller ones are too small or have all sorts of unnecessary sections for 24 colored pencils. I’d also rather have them standing up in a cup for her to easily search for colors, but cup holders don’t have covers and would be harder for her to consolidate the pencils to close with the cover. This is functionally perfect for my preschooler’s needs! It’s also really sturdy quality, so it should last her for years, if she cares for it. The best part is that it’s also so friggin cute for her, so she looks forward to coloring and writing in her homework (no she’s not graded, but it’s practice for her getting into habits for school).

I looked at other sellers for this item, and although I could get it cheaper, the posting time (+2months) was ridiculous. I paid a little extra to get it sooner and am not disappointed. Love this pencil case! Holds my pencils and watercolour pens so I can just grab it on the go, toss it in my bag with my sketchbook. So happy that it's also a holder and stands independently. Would buy another.
