being bed ridden a lot of the time i get so bored, so ive been doing different crafts to pass the time, this is a great one, very easy to do, not too fiddly for arthritic fingers, does a really nice job of embroidery results look fab once you get the hang of it. this whole kit is so lovely, loads of thread, lots of gubbins and a very nice neat carry box. i do love it when things like this come in boxes, just much neater than losing the bits all over the room. well worth the money, would make a really great kids gift.

As described and arrived on the day advised, good quality & well presented. I had something similar years ago & found this easy to use as I am familiar with the concept. The instructions are clear and fabric to practice on is included so a beginner can start straight away.

Im a beginner so I bought this to start embroidery. The kit itself is great, lots of floss and a lovely storage box with plenty of kit. I found the punch needle easy to thread but it is a bit fiddly without my glasses on! I used 14 count aida and 3 strands of thread, found the stitches to come back out of the holes quite easily, the trick was to keep the needle length quite long, dont lift the needle from the fabric and keep the pen straight. It does take a bit of practice but it seems to work better on a close weave fabric or thicker yarn. Excellent value for what you get though.

I got this as a gift for my mum. Who use to knit some truly beautiful things but now struggles with her hands so much she can no longer knit and she really does miss it... She use to have one of these back in the 90s it was called a Websters punch... All of the children had t-shirts or pillows cases made especially for them by mum. Sooo when I had this little kit sent to her she was over the moon and started using it that night.... So now the kids are ds can have something from their nan made just for them

I tried a basic design but totally failed at producing anything. It was clear to me the materials in this supposedly starter kit don't work together. I did some research and tried another kit bought from Etsy and it was a resounding success. I think the people who are selling this kit have just put random items together and don't have a clue about punch needle. The random butterfly embroidery badges should have sent warning bells unfortunately I thought I might as well try it. The fabric feels like cheap plastic to the touch and doesn't hold the embroidery thread which is too thin for it. Thicker thread or wool doesn't work either because the material is too stiff to hold the loop. The felt pen works. The embroidery thread is of poor quality, frays and doesn't cut neatly unless you pull the thread very tight prior to cutting. The scissors kind of works but I have already several of those so didn't need them. All in all a big waste of money and unfortunately as I tried the pack I could not return it.

What's not to like - if the tools are not easy at first then PRACTICE it is a wonderful hobby to take up - I am pleased with them but have not yet made any thing so far - if you are busy choose a quiet time and you will become so proficient at this beautiful task

Curiosa di questa tecnica di ricamo ho ordinato questo set completo di filati, un buon rapporto qualità prezzo, le matassine di tanti colori sono a 6 fili divisibili, molto lucide e morbide, sintetiche.Il punch si impugna comodo, 3 misure di aghi intercambiabili e la lunghezza dell’ago è regolabile con rotazione millimetrata della parte posteriore.Consiglio la visione di alcuni tutorial nel web per impratichirsi e capire tutte le possibilità che offre questa tecnica e come va rifinito e fissato il lavoro. L’uso è semplice ma ci sono regole precise da seguire, non bastano le istruzioni in inglese allegate.Da un lato si avranno piccoli punti allineati, dall’altro, cappietti più o meno lunghi, tipo punto pelliccia, si può lavorate in modo alternato sia sul dritto che sul rovescio per ottenere superfici miste.Si può lavorare con filati di diverso spessore e su qualsiasi tessuto, che va teso in un telaio.Nella confezione c’e un pezzo di tessuto tipo tela Aida che può servire x esercitarsi sfruttando i fori già presenti.Divertente ma non adatto a bambini.

Molti colori, anche se molti sono quasi uguale tra loro, la qualità è pari al prezzo, non aspettatevi fili pregiati, ma per principianti è molto più che sufficiente.L'ago non è semplice da usare, non ci sono istruzioni chiare, servirebbe seguire qualche video.Gli accessori compresi sono utili ma non indispensabili.

Livraison conforme et rapide. Kit très complet : 40 fils à broder moulinés + découd-vite +coupe-fil + lot 10 grandes aiguilles canevas +feutre tissu + un stylo punch needle et 3 aiguilles interchangeables de diamètres différents + 2 longs enfile-aiguille + une notice explicative... en anglais. En cadeau, 2 appliqués brodés. Matériel de qualité tout à fait correcte. Forcément, la notice ne comprend que des termes techniques et reste une énigme malgré mes connaissances anglophones et les croquis. Explications en français souhaitées et complètes : non seulement comment enfiler le stylo, mais aussi et surtout comment l'utiliser sur le tissu, comment broder... Éventuellement y associer une vidéo utilisant ce type de matériel précisément! Ai bataillé un (trop) long moment pour un résultat nul. Vais rechercher sur le net, mais beaucoup de prise de tête pour un objet de détente!!
