Construction Countdown Hardcover – Picture Book, May 1, 2004

Although he disagrees with how the various trucks are characterized ("that's an earthmover, not a payloader!"), my 3 year old boy loves loves loves this book.The illustrations are really sweet, though not overly detailed. They encourage counting practice and the rhymes are super sweet and clever.I really have nothing bad to say about this book except that now my boy is relentlessly begging me for a grader. Things could be worse!

My Grandson is turning three years old and loves big trucks when he came to visit that is the first thing he got his hands on. He enjoyed it so much when the visit was over it went back home with him.Its one of his books that he gets read to before bedtime every day!

We first checked this out from the library and my son loved it, it counts backward and has a surprise at the end (the story takes place in a sandbox). The pictures are nice, the text is rhyming. A lot of fun.

One of my 3 year old's favorites! We had checked this book out of the library several times and then decided to purchase one of our own!
