Buy a larger size
I loved the look of these for myself during the colder months.I took into account they had a fur lined interior so I ordered a size bigger than I usually wear.they look really nice but when I put them on ,I could feel the interior seams . The laces must just be an ornament as they would not withstand daily tightening and tying needed to wear them would snap.Even though I bought a bigger size ,I cannot wear my "warm" socks with them.I havent had a chance to test them for being waterproof yet!!!

Lovely boots
I bought these to wear round house as I cant wear slippers as they don't give enough support. These looked ideal. They are a little heavier than expected but very nice and well made.
