Hook-On Bunk Bed Ladder

This ladder worked great for a project I was working on for our RV Travel trailer Bunks. It was slightly shorter than I needed but I am am pretty resourceful and since the main tubes are square and hollow I was able to mount leg extensions to it to make it the length I needed. Actually I had an old pair of metal crutches laying around and used the legs from those along with the rubber feet for the legs which fit perfectly in the main tubes, all I had to do was drill some holes to mount the legs with bolts I got from the local hardware store. This allowed me to set up the legs at whatever length I needed so the ladder was at the proper angle I wanted. Most RV ladders you can purchase were all to long and would require the ladder to stick out way too far from the bed and the ladder would have been right in the way of our entry door so it worked our great in the end! It is made of a quality metal and seems to be very strong enough for my daughter to climb up into her bed.

This works perfectly with our camper bunkbeds! I loved the for that no assembly was required! Got them straight out of the box and hooked it on the top bunk ready for use! Very sturdy, lightweight, and takes up no additional space!

I had to retro fit this to my wood bunk bed but was the best product on the market for ME. I couldn't find a ladder that was made to fit our bunk bed like this and it is wood. I thought for sure this ladder would do the trick.It did but had to chisle a tad bit of the wood out of the railing on the bed frame itself. You would never notice from the outside and works just fine in my opinion.My bunk bed is for guests only and I have to admit I was changing the top bunk and climbed up with shoes on realized I had shoes one while making a bed and kicked them off over the edge. Climbing down with no slippers or shoes on killed my feet, I have to admit I have sensitive feet but it hurt so bad I ended up basically jumping down. I warn guests to wear their slippers...seems fine as long as you have something to wear on your feet.

I was sure the shipping weight of 4lbs must be a typo, but this ladder really is that light, yet it is perfectly strong and stable even with adult use.I was more than a bit frustrated by the lack of dimensions in the product description, so, perhaps, I can save someone else the frustration. The ladder is 41" tall, from bottom to top of hooks, 14" wide measured from the outside, and the rungs are spaced 9" apart.While strong and sturdy, the rungs are very thin (maybe 1/2" in diameter), and so will be uncomfortable to support weight for any length of time when barefoot. Probably this would be less of an issue for children than for adults.The price ($50) was more than I expected when I started looking, but the ladder does the job, and it does it well, so I'm satisfied overall.

The ladder was about as tall as my waste, Id say mabey 3 ft tall at the most. Ive never seen a bunk bed that small. Its is also very cheap metal and very thin, if an adult were to step on it, it just might bend. Waste on time, will return.

The product is very sturdy but too short for what I needed I have returned it through UPS store in ogdensburg New York notify me if you don't get it back

I bought this for our camper. My 80 pound daughter can hardly use it. The ladder bends in like it’s going to break. The steps hurt without shoes. Not a good buy.

The product arrived right away! There was very minimal assembly (no need to pay someone to put it together). Its sturdy. Works great and looks good too.
