No it's not. Not sure why the micron rep here is claiming it is as even the rep on crucial website says it's not intended for that kind of use. I'll copy their response to a customer who tried using it for heavy read / write applications and was appalled by the poor performance. "Thank you for purchasing the Crucial P1 and for your review. This drive is an entry level M.2 PCIe SSD and is not intended for heavy or constant write environments. We do sell this drive at a much lower price than many other manufactures because we are not marketing this drive as the fastest out there. This drive is intended for light use like browsing the internet and working on documents with occasional data transfers and gaming. We provide free technical support with our products and also back this product with a 5-year warranty from the date of purchase. We ask that you contact us directly using the information that I have provided below if you happen to have any further questions or concerns.
