I was getting a lower back ache even sleeping on my side. I saw a suggestion on-line to try a knee pillow, so I started looking for one on Amazon. I liked that this bolster could be used between the knees for side sleeping and also behind the legs while on your back. I was so surprised and happy with the immediate relief using this bolster for both of those methods. The pillow is very supportive and the cover is very soft. I did check the zipper, like one other review mentioned, and it worked fine. I also managed to tuck the zipper pull into the end of the fabric so the pull wouldn't flap around. It would be nice if they didn't add that sort of stiff label, but it's not usually an issue. If you only needed a pillow for between your knees, I'd suggest finding something smaller, but I like the multiple uses of this. I've gotten pretty good at moving the bolster around to my various sleeping positions. I tend to let the majority stick out in front of my knees when using on my side, because I have cats that like to sleep behind my knees and this will get in the way if you have it poking out behind you. I'll be curious to see how this works during winter. Will I feel like it props up the covers too much and lets cool air in? Hopefully not. It was difficult deciding on what size to get, so I chose Medium since I'm not super small - nor overly large/tall. Most reviews showed people ordered Medium. I feel it was the right choice for me.

Works great for sleeping on my side but I'm primarily a back sleeper and it's just a bit too large and rigid. I still end up hurting in the morning, but it's from my lumbar being pushed too far upwards rather than it being too flat. Like I said though, works well for sleeping on my side or when sitting so I can recommend if you're getting it for that.

It is as advertised. Helps my husbands back. Nice size not small at all. Comes in a compact bag but is the correct size in less than 48 hours.

I have used a “roll” bolster under my ankles for years now, as I’m on my back in bed and need to keep my heels off the mattress. It worked great for me until recently, when the memory foam inside started to break down. I was going to buy the same one again, but it was not carried anywhere that I could find on Amazon. This was the only style that I could find, a half circle now, that had a fabric that I liked plus the memory foam pillow, so I ordered it. As I unopened the pillow, it had to lay out for a bit because it was vacuum sealed for shipping purposes. But I already liked the fabric better than my roll, as it was so soft! So once the pillow was back to its normal shape, I used it overnight, and surprisingly I loved it! It stays right where you place it on your ankles, and not only is the fabric so soft, the actual pillow itself is like your legs are suspended in air it’s that comfortable! And to top it all off, it actually puts my legs at a better angle than my roll did. Needless to say I’m very happy with my purchase!

I have tried several different support pillows and none of them gave me any relief. This one has been great! I had lots of pain in my knees while sleeping. This pillow is the perfect size for me, can be used in several positions and has decreased the pain I have felt. Helps me to rest comfortably while sleeping again. Also some pillows made me heat up, this one has not done that. I would highly recommend.

The pillow works great. I ordered two and didn't use one for awhile. Unfortunately when I went to wash the cover, the zipper was not budging. I tried everything. The other pillow zips perfectly. So....just check the zipper when you get your pillow to avoid passing the return window.

I liked the length but it is still way too stiff for my liking. I just wish it was a little softer. However it works good under my knees but not behind my head.

Unfortunately, I've been super busy and missed the window to return this. I bought it for my boyfriend, who has been having sciatica pain for the past couple of months. He doesn't like it at all. He said it makes his pain worse instead of better. I tried using it as well and not comfortable at all. It is way too firm and needs to have a little more give.

Got this to keep my knees elevated after a tummy tuck. It's quite nice! After a full night's sleep it is a little flatter than when I went to bed, but all in all, pretty good!

I bought this to put under my knees when I am in my recliner. It really has helped ease my knee pain and lower back pain. Great purchase!

This bolster is one of several items I tried to alleviate knee pain that I sometimes experience while lying in bed at night. Unfortunately, this one only alleviated the pain a little bit, but I don't think that's any fault of the product. I think it's just that we all have to experiment and find, by trial and error, the things that work for us, and in my case that turned out to be a slightly taller pillow.But if this is a good height for you, there are other positives to the pillow. It hits the sweet spot between being soft enough for comfort but firm enough to hold its shape. The cover is very soft, though a little warm for my taste -- but I live in a very hot environment, so those in more moderate or colder climates may well like this.Although I no longer use it at night, I often use it on my sofa for support while meditating or lounging, and it's great for that. In fact, I'm impressed at how it's holding it's firmness and shape even after the way I've been using it for the last seven months.It's hard to know if something like this will work for you without actually testing it, and then you risk the hassle of having to return it if it doesn't suit you. If possible, I'd suggest trying something else of about the same height (like maybe a rolled towel or blanket) to see how that feels. It wouldn't be a perfect match, but it might give you some more confidence going into this purchase.

It feels so comfortable under my knees. Takes pain away!
