Good wrist band.
I'm satisfied with the quality of this wrist band. I bought it because it looks closest as possible to the original wrist band my vintage 1995 Casio Pathfinder came with when it was brand new. As per the other reviewers saying their wrist bands didn't last long, well, only time will tell. The only gripe I have, and the reason I didn't rate in 5 stars, is the band could've had one extra hole in it to fit snug around my scrawny wrist.

Regrets giving up original leather strap for this...
3 stars despite fact that the person to whom it was given for use on a Swiss Army watch did not clean it or condition it at all & it lasted 3 years, might have gone another couple months or so before snapping completely & landing??? The nylon (green, not shiny or fraying) & stitches (95%) are OK as is all the leather EXCEPT for the hole it was buckled at was cracking across the inside with the next tighter hole also beginning to tear from the inside. HOWEVER, this Hadley-Roma only gets 3 stars (or maybe it should be 2) because I'm comparing it to the original Swiss Army leather strap it replaced which had rivets & stitching on the "pin" ends. The original was used well over 10 years under worse conditions & should never have been cut off & replaced - just conditioned. Regrets aplenty now - was unable to locate the brand leather replacement w/rivets in the right size at the time & the type of watch face/style is no longer made. Oddly, the entire Hadley Roma is about 3/4" shorter than the original Swiss Army strap-this seems to be an issue with many replacement watch bands-I thought people were getting taller & larger over time so this makes zero sense. Also the 2 leather rings (one fixed, one movable) on the Hadley-Roma both came off & were nearly lost & had to be repaired within 1st yr because they were GLUED and lack the add'l stitching that holds these things on the Swiss Army strap. I suspect there may be a major issue of leather quality/preparation here. The original strap shows the uniform wear lines expected of quality leather after 10+ yrs & could have been conditioned & lasted another 10 yrs. The Hadley-Roma leather, after 3 yrs, is unusually smooth inside & out EXCEPT for the 2 deep cracks mentioned above. I'm going to take them to the cobbler who has educated me recently & helped me get 20+ year old shoes, belts, handbags looking perfect & ask him why the watch leather has worn so differently & report back. It simply never crossed my mind to ask a cobbler about a man's leather watch strap since I personally wear 2 toned metal. Big mistake. The Hadley looked nice for a while & might have lasted longer if it was cleaned & conditioned but from what I've learned about leather so far, I'm not sure this type of "sealed" leather would respond to conditioning. If they have one that is all nylon & you're good with that - that's the way I'd go since the nylon portion of this strap is fine. Cheers.

Pretty Nice But Leather Is Dry
I waited to review this band because I had ordered the SE JT6203 7PC Watch Spring Bar Tool and wanted to use it to install the watch band. Since the local jeweler charges 10 bucks to install a watch band, when I ran across that tool while searching for a new watch band, I decided, what the heck, I can now do it with the tool for half the price, at least, for what the jeweler charges, not to mention the gas it takes to drive down there. So, I had to wait because I had the band a couple of days prior to the tool arriving. I would have given the band a 5 star because it is at least as good as the Swiss Army brand, not to mention a heck of a lot less expensive...but...the leather is pretty dry. I took a bottle of Red Wing Boot Oil and with a que-tip, oiled the band and let it soak in overnight. I believe that that simple thing will allow the band to last longer. The oil will make it more supple and protect it from salts in sweat from your wrist. This is my third such band, the two prior being Swiss Army brand. Both of them wore out because they simply gave up from too much bending plus the body salts getting into the leather. Additionally, the green nylon part of the band is brighter and richer looking than the one that Swiss Army used to sell. All-in-all, Hadley-Roma seems to be making a quality watch band. I will buy again if and when I need a new one.

Decent strap for the money, fits Victorinox 24378
This is the third strap I've bought for my Victorinox Swiss Army Classic model 24378 watch. The first replacement strap I bought from Victorinox cost $20 and it lasted about three years, about the same longevity as the original. When I needed a second replacement strap, Victorinox did not have them in stock, so I bought a knockoff from a vendor on Amazon. It was much less expensive than the Victorinox and of correspondingly lower quality; it lasted about 15 months rather than three years. Victorinox again has straps in stock for the 24378 but they now cost $35, which is almost half what I paid for the watch 11 years ago, so I decided to try a different knockoff brand. This Hadley-Roma looks nearly identical to the original Victorinox strap and its 18mm width fits the watch perfectly. Unlike the Victorinox it has a couple of tang holes spaced to fit smaller wrists like mine. (If you have a large wrist you might consider the MSM866RL, which has a longer strap.) Only time will tell if it holds up as well as the Victorinox. The strap was imported from China.Update, 18 months after replacing strap - The keeper loop broke off around 12 months. At 18 months the strap, though still functional, was getting worn and smelly. Washing the band in soapy water would not alleviate the smell. Thus the strap lifetime for me was 18 months. I replaced the strap with a Hadley-Roma MSM841, also available on Amazon. I hope that strap proves to be more water-resistant than the MSM866.

Great until it isn't
I've purchased this strap a few times. It is comfortable and looks great. The only problem is that after a few years, it falls apart. Probably any similar strap would do the same.

6.5' wrists just barely fits, made for larger wrists
Great strap that brings the pros of the durability of the leather and flexibility of the nylon into one form factor. Take note though that I have 6.5" wrists, put the strap on a Seagull 1963 40mm version with a lug-to-lug of 48mm, and I have to put the metal clasp into the last hole for a nice tight fit. This last hole is annoying to use because of the leather tapper preventing movement which makes it difficult for me to remove.

Made a good quality watch pop.
I have used this band on two of my watches. The first watch was a 30 year + Swiss Army watch - it looked like the factory original. When the Swiss Army watch died, I was wiley. I snapped up a very good quality watch at deep discount with a very geeky factory band. I replaced the geeky band with this one and suddenly the new watch became very good looking. A good purchase.

Defective watch strap
The strap looks like the same model I ordered a year previously but the watch strap had only 1 loop to slide the other half into whereas the one I bought a year ago had 2. After 3 days, the only loop on the strap broke off. I am using a mini-elastic to keep the other strap in place so that it does not catch on anything that my arm rubs against. Not overly satisfied with it but I'm living with it.
