Solid sounding earphones - impressed so far.
Started running & going on long walks after 3 years of incredible laziness, and decided that now we're in the age of Bluetooth earphones I could ditch the wire running down the inside of my shirt.Type in "Wireless earphones" into Amazon and you get a plethora of options at all different price points. Headphones, earphones, over-ear, hooked, wired together, totally wireless... compounded by the strange lack of branding in the low and mid range of the market, before you get up to your Bose, Sennheisers, Apple Airpods etc.Eventually I took a punt on these in Orange (It's "Bright Copper" on the box, and I think that's a better description because it is a metallic finish). Reasonable number of good reviews that don't seem *crazily* positive if you know what I mean, relatively long in-use battery life and, I hoped, at least passable sound quality. They arrived, and my first impression (besides the endless fun of questionable Chinese->English translation on the box & manual) was of a reasonably solid product. The earbuds themselves are a little bigger than I was imagining, though placing them in my ear they are surprisingly comfortable.Bluetooth setup with my phone was a breeze. They appeared straight away and since that first connection have automatically connected as soon as I pull them out the charging case. Place them back in the case, and a tiny red LED on the earphones lets you know they're charging. When charged, the LED turns blue for a short while then shuts off. The case itself has 4 little white LEDs on the back to show the charge level, and a USB-C port to charge it up.That's the first of two negatives - the USB-C port is a bit wobbly, and I'm not totally confident about how it'll hold up in the long run. The second is the hinged lid. When it's closed a magnet holds it tightly. When it's open, it rattles round on the hinges in a way that doesn't scream quality & longevity. It's the only let down on what otherwise feels like a solid and well engineered product. Now, for the sound. First impression wasn't great - one side had a lot more bass than the other. I started to experiment with the little interchangeable plastic caps and discovered that finding the right one is really important in order to get a good fit in your ear which both fills out the low end and cuts down on external noises. I actually found that a mismatched set works best for my ears - a slightly bigger cap in the right ear gives me an even sounding low end that doesn't pull to the left or right. This is entirely down to the physical shape of my ear canal, and just shows how personal the experience of different earphones can be.Having found the right mismatched pair of caps, I'm pleased with the sound quality. It isn't *incredible* - they've definitely made the choice to hype the lows, and the treble isn't crystal clear; it's a little smeared/mushy. The low end isn't deep, punchy sub bass but the more pillowy, soft warmth that fills things out. It steps on the midrange a bit, though I wouldn't say they're particularly scooped sounding. That said, some perspective; the sound quality is way better than any earphones that have come bundled with devices I've had in the last 10 years. The only in-ear earphones I've had sound better are an old pair of Etymotics that were twice the price. These BicBoz ones aren't for critical listening anyway; they're for streets with traffic noise, trains and busses and public spaces where precise sonic details would be wasted. So far the battery life seems good, though all I can say for certain is that the earphones last at least 90 minutes since that's the longest I've used them for without sticking them back in the case. I've got no reason to doubt the 6-8 hour claim, anyway. And that 90 minutes felt comfortable the whole time - there was none of the pain/ irritation that an be caused by prolonged earphone use. I'll update this review at a later date if that changes. One word of warning - some reviewers have said that it can feel a bit sore pushing the buttons on the earphones. They're not touch sensitive, they're actual push-buttons, and I guess if you're using longer in-ear caps, depending on the shape of your ear canal that could put some pressure in sensitive parts of your middle ear. I've not experienced any of that, I'm pleased to say.To finish up, then... If they last, they'll be well worth the £70 they cost at time of purchase.

So nearly perfect...
Bass is very powerful, but not so much that it ruins the mids, which I appreciate as I mostly listen to house music but also more quiet, electronic stuff. Noise cancelation is great, I have used them on flights and found that the noise of the plane is far less noticeable than when I have used other earphones. Battery life is incredible, I commute to and from University via train which often takes around 7 hours and the battery could easily last about 4 of these journeys until I have to charge them. Also charges very quickly. LOVE the appearance, feel as though they suit any outfit and are very discreet. All the above mentioned amazing, HOWEVER, I have had so many experiences where they refuse to connect to each other. Every time this happens it's so annoying because I turn them on and off, try a hard reset holding them down for 10 seconds, check the battery etc and yet on some rare occasions, they just won't connect at all, despite trying everything. I'll just put them back, go to use them a few days later and then they suddenly work again. It's like a gamble every time I turn them on and gets very frustrating. ALSO, another recurring issue is that the bass will feel a lot more powerful in one earphone for a brief moment. I don't know why it does this but it's very disorientating, just for half a minute it's as though the earphones decide to divert 70% bass to the left earphone, leaving the right with only 30%. They also cut out for a split second every now and then but to be honest this will happen only a few times in a 7 hour long journey so not a big issue.Overall I would still recommend, sound quality is amazing and they look and feel great for the price. Just please take note of these issues because Christ although they are rare, they are so annoying.

JUST AS GOOD AS BRANDED HEADPHONES WITHOUT THE EXTORTIONATE COST
I have Bose QC 35 that I use for trains, chilling, long journeys etc. I have Air pods that I just started to use for the gym, after my trusted gym headphones went down, Apple are nice and comfortable, but the sound isn't great, probably cause i love bass when I am training, also i tend to do about 5-8k runs 5 times a week and the problem with Air pods is as soon as i start to sweat they keep moving and sweat gets into the buds causing sound to drop out(forever fidgeting with them when running), when i am on the bench press they fall out as soon as i strain with the heavy weight.needed to get another pair for the gym, and.....DAMN these are really good, with my Air pods I can hear all the other machines, people talking, and the gyms crap radio over my music. With these virtually nothing, the bass is decent for such a small unit and they are loud as hell ( I like). the functions are very straight forward, battery life good.I didn't particularly want to spend over £100 as I was buying for a single purpose, and I must say these were under £70 and they are money well spent, i was concerned as I have other decent headphones that they would not match up, but as i already guessed I am paying for the brand name... you are thinking of getting a set you will be pleased all the feedback is correct.***Only one downside which maybe important to you but not for me, the phone calls are rubbish, you can barely hear the person on the other end, but i didn't buy to have conversations I hate being disturbed when training, I just use Air pods when gym done.Perfect Money well spent...... oh and they look really cool had people asking me about them.
