Winsome 29-Inch Square Leg Bar Stool, Black, Set of 2

I needed additional wood bar stools to supplement my previous set of Winsome bar stools I bought a long time ago at a different store. Found them here for a much better price! Amazon rox! These arrive fully assembled—6/5 stars for ‘easy to assemble category’ The wood is solid, well constructed and handsome, esp in the natural color. I love the square legs in contrast to the round seat and round cross dowels. A detail that imo, separates this from other basic bar stools is that all the outer corners of the square legs have been smoothed with a router. Also, the seat edges have likewise been smoothed with a router. The legs are thick enough to support the chair without looking bulky. Very well designed chair. They feel and look just like my same bar stools from 25 yrs ago, which are still going strong now. This basic bar stool is well designed of good quality materials and solid construction. And at Amazons current special price of ~45.00, such an incredible value. (I am actually surprised to read the many negative reviews here for this item...but I will update my review just in case I have similar issues as those.) I would definitely buy again, in fact, bought another set.

The stools are well-made and sturdy. The height is just right. They look expensive and are worth the money. I use them for multiple purposes. They look nice in front of the kitchen counter and are perfect for sitting while ironing or steaming clothes, for instance. I love the stools. The stools required no assembly. The comfort is what to be expected when sitting on a wooden stool.

Honestly, the price convinced me to try these. When I opened their box, I smiled and laughed. The two sets of two barstools were in extraordinary condition and stained a beautiful standard black that matched my dining room chairs. They are sturdy, level, and a great height for my standard bar counter. I still can't believe the price. I read the reviews that they were packaged without padding and while that is true, the method of packing and placement in the box seems to prevent damage. I prepared myself just in case anything that was written in the one-star reviews of these Winsome 29" square Leg Bar Stools happened to me; I was going to give them to an artist friend of mine to be reclaimed. Sorry artist friends, I'm keeping them!

This is a great quality, well built stool and it looks nice. My first order came and was missing half of the seat, it appears it broke off during construction and they boxed it despite the seat missing a whole quarter moon shape out of it and being nowhere to be found in the box. I have to take off a star for that. Someone saw it was broken and boxed it anyway. That aside, the replacements came and they are 100% perfect. I use them in my garage to rest on when im working briefly. I threw some cheap Klear Vu Omega Barstool Cushion, 2 Pack on them... fit perfectly, very cheap and good for light use (probably want something more padded for dinner table or something like that). Love the stools! Update: I've been using these stools for several years now still going strong.

Just bought 4 of these for the kitchen island. I can't speak to durability yet, but they feel sturdy, appear to be well made, and are really cute! I bought the 29" height, which turns out to be a bit on the tall side for our island, but that was my own error. Love that they came fully assembled, easy packaging- had them out and set up just a few minutes after delivery. No issues with uneven legs, as some reviewers have reported. If anything changes, I will update my post- but so far, very pleased with this purchase!

This company has good reviews on these stools and the color goes perfectly with my pergola. I bought four of these for the bar area beside my hot tub. As a former woodworker I was happy to see how each stool was properly glued and the legs were solid, no loose or wobbly joints. And they come assembled! You just take them out of their shipping boxes and they are ready to go.

Tall, sturdy and the color matches exactly as you see advertised. These bar stools currently sit at my bar counter in my home and look great (even on wood floors with similar color/tone). I was considering getting a more expensive bar stool - that perhaps had a back to them, but if you are looking to keep things simple and enjoy this simple, and yet quality look and feel, I would highly recommend these stools. Great stools for a great price.

These are exactly like the shorter wooden stools I have in my kitchen--which are very sturdy. It's jsut physics. These are much taller and as you set your tush upon the seat, you must take care not to do too much wriggling to get situated. (I'm 5'4")... These arrived already assembled, which is nice in a way, but if I had been the one to assemble them I'd have taken care to secure them with wood glue too or something along those lines. Also traveling fully assembled just loose inside a box I'm sure didn't help. Still--longer legs = more wobble. That said, the wood is very nice (I got the blonde or natural) and a flat wood seat is a flat wood seat. My skinny 15 year old said his tush hurts if he sits on it too long (I have more cushioning).

Los bancos se ven durables y resistentes. Algunas de las patas presentan nudos en la madera lo que los hace poco atractivos. No en todos pero las patas no son del mismo tamaño aunque sea por un milímetro pero cojean. Nada que no se pueda arreglar poniendo unos protectores de fieltro en cada pata. Uno de los bancos llegó levemente dañado en el asiento posiblemente en el transporte. Por lo demás espero que duren bastante y se ven bien por el precio pagado.

For the price these are amazing!! Nice and tall! Very very sturdy! They were already put together just had to get them out of the box! Perfect bar stools!

Good quality. Great price. Fast shipping. Super conveniently preassembled. A little bit wobbly but I was able to fix that with some sticky felt on the legs.

Bought 6 of these stools when they were on sale. $75 for a 2 pack was a great purchase! they are sturdy and have a larger than normal seat pad which makes it more comfortable. They have been in heavy use for about 4 weeks now and are still holding up perfectly.
